Laura and Makayla did an amazing job of capturing our wedding. Their attention to detail, artistic photos and storytelling were spot on. I couldn’t be happier with the results and apparently the same for our guests who have all commented on how amazing the photos are. LKM is so much fun to work with, she takes the time to listen and really cares, it is so obvious. It felt like a best friend was shooting our wedding with how much she cared and how excited she was. I’ve never been comfortable having my picture taken and was nervous for our engagement shoot. Right away I could tell how much she cared, her excitement and fun personality put me at ease right away- I felt like I’ve know her for years! For our engagement and our wedding she went completely above and beyond our expectations, not to mention everyone at our wedding was asking about our photographer because they wanted to use her! When planning our wedding, the number one thing we agreed on was that we wanted a photographer that fit our couple-style, laid back and fun, and would be able to tell a story with our photos rather than just take the standard posed versions. We stumbled across Laura's website, and her description and samples were exactly what we envisioned! We were so excited that we were terrified she would be booked for our date, and we reached out immediately with baited breath. Low and behold, she was available! So we talked to her, booked her immediately, and started dreaming about our wedding photos. We were SO excited that we never noticed that she was in Tucson, while we were in Phoenix! That never proved to be an issue, as she was happy to travel to our wedding, and we traveled to her for engagement photos. She had us laughing and enjoying every moment, for two people that don't generally enjoy photos (and myself, normally being behind a camera!). She went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our engagement shoot and the photos were everything we wanted! Our guests didn't even want to send back the RSVP cards so that they could keep the printed copies! Once our wedding day came, she was there with her assistant, happy and excited! She kept us smiling the entire time, and her prompts made it hard to remember at times that we were posing for photos. Everyone enjoyed being a part of her photos and repeatedly came up to ask me who the amazing photographer was, because they all loved her so much as well!! She delivered our photos a full two weeks before they were expected, and they met all of our expectations and then some! My new husband and I went through the photos together, reliving our wedding night through them. We laughed, cried, and could not believe how much she brought the night back alive to us. The ONLY thing we were sad about is that we did not have enough time to take even more photos! She is amazing, fun, sweet and everything you would ever want or need in a photographer! I cannot say enough good things, and I intend to continue to see her for years to come with photos of my family and kids... I cannot imaging having anyone else take these precious photos, and I am so glad we didn't let a little thing like distance stop us from booking her! Laura did our wedding over 6 years ago, but we just pulled out all the pictures to show my brother in law and his fiancé and they were really impressed with the quality, poses, and thoroughness. They said “she makes everyone look good in every picture.” Plus it was fun to be able to look back and remember that special day with such amazing photos. Laura really took away some of the stress of the day and left us with beautiful memories. If I had to do it all over again (and I don’t plan to!!!) I would hire Laura in a heartbeat. More...
