I went to Latea in West Lafayette, and I had a great time! I tried a few different drinks and loved them all! The mango tea and very berry smoothie were probably my top two favorites. My friend had the tiramisu drink and she was obsessed. We also tried a few pastries and they were very delicious. Latea also had the nicest staff and they were so eager to answer all of my questions. The store front was also very clean so that was a plus. Every student or visitor needs to try Latea!!! More...

The brown sugar boba is amazing. I cant have dairy, and the almond milk substitute they use for the milk tea is amazing! My husband likes the Taro milk tea and gets it almost very time he comes. The staff are nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. We have sat down to have our bubble tea before to meet friends and really enjoyed it. More...

TLDR: Great fruit tea. Good milk tea. Pastries and snacks available. Good staff. Clean Interior.Fruit tea is made well and tasted excellent. This shop has several milk alternatives including oat. Their boba milk tea is competitive but is more a matter of convenience than preference over tea shops. Large selection of attractive pastries and snacks.Staff was friendly and took order promptly. Had helpful feedback to my questions and offered good suggestions.Seating was available, no mess left on table or any sticky surfaces (which is surprisingly common in tea joints). Craving the afternoon pick-me-up bubble tea? Latea has got it covered. It is easily accessible in the levee plaza area though parking is limited right in front so you may have to walk a little bit to get to it. Inside is bright and cheery with a few seats available if you wish to stay a while. You can even order at a kiosk so you can browse the menu in more detail.The milk tea is great! The default milk used is lactose free creamer. There is an extra charge to use any other milk. I love Latea! I've tried quite a few different bubble teas here, and they've all been great! Sometimes their wait times are really long, but overall I would say it's worth a try!
