Everything from our very delicious food to the beautiful patio dining area was amazing! The chef's expertise was definitely poured into every dish at our table even the kids meals were perfectly prepared and the kids loved every bite! Our service staff was probably the best part, meeting the chef, also meeting Linda and enjoying her delicious margaritas and being served by Robert learning about the history of this beautiful family owned and very loved restaurant we are definitely going to be coming back regularly and look forward to planning some birthday parties!! I just moved to the High Desert a couple of weeks ago and have officially found my favorite Mexican restaurant in my new area. Firstly, the customer service and the family atmosphere that Linda and her staff offered was off the charts. Secondly, The food was exceptional, from the homemade tortillas, tortilla chips, salsa and tapas were delicious.Honestly, we felt like we were going to a family member's home for a nice home-cooked meal and evening out. Hi my name is Sean, I was there for dinner with my parents and my son. Our server was insanely slow even though there weren't any customers there for the 3 hours we were there. They couldn't keep drinks or chips and salsa on our tables even though we paid extra for chips and salsa, and to make it worse when we got our food my mom got the wrong food when she has a gluten allergy. To top off the experience the owner went around talking about personal affairs with all the customers. We thought it was highly inappropriate and that's when we decided to leave. I love this place. It's so cute. You would of never thought the inside would look so nice inside. The food is amazing I like the mar skewers are soo good and the Mexican style shrimp cocktails, they are the right consistency of sauce, you really don't have to add more to it, it's perfect the way it is. I love this Mexican restaurant. We have been coming here for years. We had a young waitress today that had a really bad attitude. We are hard working and were looking to have a nice meal out. Unfortunately that was not the case. She had a terrible attitude and was not pleasant. I asked another waitress to take our order and she did. The food was very good as always. Had the best time last night! We were able to celebrate with my family at this amazing restaurant after just getting married & it was about a group of 28 of us & we called last minute understanding that there were no guarantees & they made it happen!!! I appreciate all the employees here everyone was so nice & welcoming & were on it! I would recommend 1,000%! Food is amazing, service was amazing & they definitely made my wedding day special! We used to eat here all the time because the food was very good. We went back after the owner passed away he would walk around greeting everyone he was a very nice <a href="/redir? url=http%3A%2F%2Fman.so&s=f13d75f0369b85b46e1302e4944b771b16de67086baef146d5d3c085e917ebc1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">man.so</a> now that he's gone it's not the same . The food is not as good and it feels like a different place. He would also walk to the the people that we're eating outside. Recently some people were eating in the patio and they walked out the back entrance not paying their bill. So the owner who is the wife of the owner blamed the server for the people walking out!!!and made her pay for half the the bill because the people ran out with out paying . It's not her fault. Did the owners want her to run after them?? They're wrong for doing that stupid punishment and it's against the law she can sue them and take them to court and she will win. The Pandemic has been difficult for many eating establishments, this place is no different. However quality and concern for the customers still take priority here. The prices are up but it seems that everywhere we find the same thing. The food and service was great. When my waitress brought our food it was the same quality as it was 3 years ago when I reviewed this place.We have had great weather here in the high desert and the porch with its flaming pit really sets a great atmosphere. The are great at cooking steak. The waitress had me cut it to see if it were to my satisfaction. If you want a fast-food, this is not it.Everything is cooked when you order it the same as another mom and pop restaurant. I have been to great restaurants in the past that have lost its quality but not this one. Parking is minimal and prices are high, but every good restaurant at this time is. I live 3 minutes away from this place and Had never been there! We stopped by to celebrate my brother and I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY we chose this place! It is such a beautiful reataurant, they have a patio and a bar area and its gorgeous! The food was delicious I got the green enchiladas suizas and my husband got the steak and it was to die for. The service was AMAZING! We had Tim and he was very polite and peofessional and looks like he enjoys his job! Also the manager came by a couple of times to ask how everything was, and everyone works together as a team! The whole staff was amazing! We often eat here because the food is very good. We were pretty busy so we hadn't been there since October of 2020 . We decided to go eat there a few days ago and found out that the wonderful owner had passed away in November 2020 very sad. his wife now runs it . So we ate dinner and we were very disappointed in the food it was not the same we ordered the chili rellenos plate my favorite there but it was a soggy flat no flavor not even enough cheese . Also the the rice was very dry and didn't taste homemade the beans were terrible and the salsa was not good and not the same . We were very disappointed. The food used to be so good!
