I have been going to Larry's since I was a child (when they were off of Bothel Everett Hwy in Mill Creek. I now live out of state and return every time I am in town to get a bottle of sauce and a ham sandwich. Ironically I am not a huge BBQ sauce fan but I am happy to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get a ham sandwich on great bread with Larry's bomb-ass sauce!! So glad to see this local small business still around. I was shocked to see the reviews below! It looks like they are mainly related to catering (BBQ is a strange choice for a wedding in WA, IMO). I've been twice now. Both times I've really enjoyed the brisket sandwich. Tender brisket and sauce is fantastic. I honestly haven't found a better brsiket sandwich in the Seattle area. I love Larry's smokehouse! I am a huge fan of their beef brisket and have been getting a pound of it to go once a week! The sauce and the BBQ sauce combined is simply amazing. I was so impressed with everything with this company. They were so easy to work with, the food was amazing and they did everything perfect. I had so many people come up to me during our wedding and say how impressed they were with the caterers. Multiple cousins said they went back for thirds and we still had some leftover. We had Larry's at our wedding, and they did a great job. We wanted a more informal vibe and this was perfect. They were open to setting up anywhere at our venue and can go outside or inside. They bring paper plates, which was very helpful as we were in charge of clean up at our venue. Very down-to-earth folks who got the job done! Also the food was great. We got the most basic package - cornbread, coleslaw, beans, chicken, salmon, and pulled pork, and I didn't hear anyone wishing there had been more options. They can bring vegetarian lasagna for vegetarians. We also had some nice veggie appetizer platters out for those wanting to fill up on lighter foods. Larry's is a bright star in the culinary desert of Cathcart. The Smokehouse is new to the neighborhood, but has been in south Snohomish county at different locations for many years. Its straight to the point menu offers all the expected fare for a BBQ joint, plus smoked salmon. The storefront is modest with only a few indoor seats and no outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and the to-go service was very prompt.The food earns Larry's a very strong 4 star. I ordered the brisket with beans, coleslaw, and cornbread muffin. Â It was almost $15 for the dinner. Â The brisket was generous, the sides were a bit small for the price. Â The brisket and sauce would 5 star all day; however, it was rather fatty. It's been about 30 years since I ate at Larry's Smokehouse which was then In Mill Creek on Bothell Everett Highway. My son in law (who is a talented chef) recently shared with me how amazing the Larry's brisket sandwich he'd just eaten for lunch was (I didn't know Larry's was now on Highway 9) so today I finally tried it! Wow, the sandwich far exceeded my hopes and expectations! The roll it's served on is lightly toasted, crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. The brisket itself is a generous helping w outstanding flavor and very moist/tender. I added the bbq sauce served on the side and topped the meat w coleslaw. Omg yum!! I also purchased a pound of brisket for home, it came with a very generous container of their tasty bbq sauce on the side. Given how great all the food was, I wished I'd tried more of the other sides now. Next time I will! There is a highly rated bbq joint in Marysville I tried last year w great anticipation and I was really disappointed. It was expensive very so so. Larry's Smokehouse in Clearview is the bomb, just saying! Not only awesome food but great people. A elderly guy was leaving and his paper bag ripped all the food was on the ground not only did they go out and helped him, but also remade his entire order for him. Great place!

Best BBQ place I've ever eaten from. It was the BEST BBQ SAUCE, BRISKET(melts in your mouth ), AND BEANS I've had anywhere and it is really one of those hidden gems you don't know about unless you know someone who has been there. Seriously the best BBQ sauce with such a full palette taste. Smoky, spicy, sweet full flavored sauce. If you haven't tried it, definitely go now and check it out.
