Land's End at Cannon Beach

Land's End is our favorite hotel in Cannon Beach. It's a block or two away from shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, and of course steps from the beach. The location simply can't be beat. We've stayed in a few different rooms. During this trip we stayed in room 31 (view from balcony in attached image). It's not a true "beach facing" view but it's still a fantastic view as you can see. The room was perfect size for two people, fireplace (with free fire log every day), updated bathroom, and nice vaulted ceilings. One minor gripe with the room: the bed was not very comfortable, both my wife and I had a little back pain in the morning and tossed and turned quite a bit. Still, that was the only complaint. The fantastic location, comfy room , and friendly staff make this still a strong 5/5 in my view. Also the staff allowed us to make a last-minute date change on our reservation at no cost due to an illness, which they did not have to do, but in doing so they have definitely secured our business in the future. Our stay at Lands Inn was fabulous. You are in a perfect location because you are steps from the beach and also near the restuarants and shops. I love that is pet friendly.

Last minutes stay and was pleasantly surprised. Room had a great view of ocean and loved the kitchenette. Bedroom was off the main room and had no view so we used the pull out couch in the open concept room to sleep by the view/ocean. It was a great place. Can’t wait to go back. More...

We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. Last minute reservation we got a one bedroom suite with view. The room was big enough for a small family. There was a bedroom with queen bed and then a pull out couch. Since the bedroom was in the back with no view we slept on the pull out so we could enjoy the ocean. The kitchenette was well equipped and clean. The room was great to hangout, drink a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has wood for fires. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The shared patio was a pretty space with nice flowers. It was nice they had sand buckets/shovels to borrow. The oceanfront view was pretty. It was about a mile to Haystack rock and it’s not visible until you round the corner, but it made for a nice walk. It is close to numerous shops and eateries. Carpet is a bad idea at the beach... Worth every penny!!!!! These folks treated us like we were on vacation and appreciated for staying. They had everything my family needed to feel at home on the beach from a fan to sleep with to marshmallow toasting sticks for the beach(which they did not charge is extra for) this is a Class A place!!! Loved it!!!
