This is such a great place to hold a party and celebrate. I’ve been to so many events there over the years and all of them have been a blast! The staff is so friendly and helpful and they offer lots of food and drinks. There is a perfect area for dancing but also lots of room for tables. It also has an upstairs with a balcony and bar for those who’d rather watch. It’s a great place for all ages to come together. I’d definitely recommend hosting an event there. More...

My husband and i went to an affair at Lakewatch. Cayuga Medical Center along with the Cancer Center in Tompkins County held a dinner for people who have had or are going through various cancers. The facility itself is very nice. The ambiance is lovely, with a massive fireplace and beautifully decorated tables. The meal was very nice. Our summer wedding at the LakeWatch Inn was amazing. Working with Nicole was a dream! She was so easy to talk to, and happily answered all of my questions throughout the entire wedding planning process. From our initial tour of the venue, to the tasting, to the wedding day, we were so happy with the entire LakeWatch team. The night before the wedding, there were terrible thunderstorms/flooding, and Nicole bent over backwards for us, staying at the LakeWatch into all hours of the night, making sure that the venue was perfect for our wedding day. Words can't explain how grateful we are for her dedication and professionalism. Nicole and her team were extremely accommodating, from renting specific chairs, to opening an extra bar for us at the last minute. I don't even know where to begin. Our experience with the LakeWatch Inn was incredible! The moment my husband and I walked in the doors, we knew we had to get married here. The vaulted ceiling and lights were stunning, and the open second floor was such a unique touch. And as someone who has lived in/near NYC for the past 7 years, I didn't want a "barn" wedding. And it wasn't! The venue is so flexible and can be dressed up any way you want. Everything looked so modern and sleek, just like we wanted.

Nicole is an incredibly talented master-of-all trades. She was so easy to work with (and fun!). We planned the entire wedding from out of town and she couldn't have made it any smoother. Richard was also a blast to work with and got the exact flowers I wanted.

Our wedding receptions this past weekend was everything my husband and I had hoped for and more. When looking for venues, we knew the minute we walked in this is where our reception had to be. Nicole was so nice and answered any and all questions we had from the day we signed our contract, a little over a year in advance, to the day before our wedding. Nicole and her staff were so great to work with, they made our dream wedding come true and I can honestly say there is not one thing I would change about our night! When I walked in Saturday night I was blown away with how great it looked, the decorations and centerpieces were perfectly placed. Their on-site catering was absolutely delicious! Based on our outstanding experience at our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding on July 16, 2016 at the LakeWatch Inn, we are writing to thank Nicole, Chef Kevin and the entire team for a perfect evening and to highly recommend them for your event.

From the beginning, Nicole understood the romantic and rustic feeling that our bride and groom were trying to create, and was extremely responsive and collaborative in achieving it. The end result was magical - Nicole captured what our bride and groom wanted perfectly through her use of multiple strands of lights and paper lanterns hung from the ceiling, draped fabric adjacent to the stone fireplace, elevation of our table centerpieces on beautiful wooden slabs, and small decorated tables tucked in niches throughout the room for the wedding cake, etc. The covered deck with an outside bar and beautiful grounds gave our guests places to mingle away from the tables and dance floor. And we cannot say enough about having the entire venue for our own private use.

Nicole has an excellent sense of flow that went beyond how the room was set-up. The events of the evening were beautifully choreographed and flawlessly timed. For example, the staff served adult root beer floats to our guests as the band took a break – making what could have been a potential lull into a memorable moment.

We selected our menu from an extensive array of Hors d’oeuvres and dinner options which Chef Kevin prepared to perfection. The team provided "white glove" service from the passing of Hors d’oeuvres and welcome drinks, through dinner and the unobtrusive clearing of dishes.

Nicole worked with us hands on every step of the way to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. She is incredible because she takes your vision and turns it into a day you will never forget.

My daughter and daughter in law recently had their wedding and reception at Lakewatch Inn. I can not express how pleaseed we were with all aspects of our day and evening! Words can not express our love and gratitude for LakeWatch Inn and their staff. Stand out gems are Nicole and Chef Kevin! Nicole being so detail oriented and always two steps ahead and prepared for the worst, including a brief rain storm that moved our ceremony inside . Ironically the move inside when so flawless that it looked like that was the plan all along. Just amazing. And Kevin...oh my. We selected a unique BBQ wedding menu and he absolutely nailed it! What an amazing experience! Working with Nicole at Lake Watch was incredible. I threw an Adoption Day Party with very little notice -- maybe two weeks -- and Nicole put on an event that looked like I had been planning it for a year. The venue itself was gorgeous, impressive and magical, as if the entire place were twinkling with lights. The staff was highly professional, warm and very helpful. The food was delicious! I can not rave enough about how pleased I was with Lake Watch. I hope I have many more Adoption Day Parties, just so I can visit Lake Watch again! ;) More...
