Nutritionists & Dietitians

I met with Nick twice and he was a great help. I was looking to get information and advice on how to eat healthier and how to shed weight and I was provided excellent tips and tricks. I would recommend anyone pursuing a healthier lifestyle to meet with Lakeside Digestion. More...

Q&As

Having a healthy diet is important, no doubt about it. Almost just as important, though, is the question of whether that diet is right for you. The one detail that is nearly always forgotten when talking about specific diets is one's unique health condition and your ability to digest the diet being promoted. For example, a high protein diet may work great for someone who is protein deficient and is able to digest that type of diet. However, for someone who is having trouble with protein metabolism, a sudden increase in protein intake can create indigestion, bowel toxicity and a host of other related symptoms.

The key is to find out what your body needs and what it can digest. A 24 hour urinalysis is recommended to customize a plan that is just right for you. A 24 hour urinalysis is a simple, non-invasive diagnostic tool to help identify how well you are: digesting the food that you eat; absorbing the nutrients you've digested; getting rid of the body's wastes.

I love helping clients find answers to unresolved health issues.

My grandfather used to always say that if you don't have your health, nothing else matters. I was blessed to have grown up with parents who prioritized the importance of good nutrition. By having my own business, I can devote more of my time and energy on helping clients to achieve their health goals.

To have a customized plan based on your body's unique ability or inability to digest and absorb nutrients.

Yes, absolutely! Insurance for telehealth can be tricky but I offer sliding scale pricing and affordable packages.

Making sure both client and consultant wear masks and keeping at least 6 feet of social distance during visits.
