As someone who works in healthcare and knows the stigma attached to mental illness, I was nervous about starting all over with a new psychiatrist. I am so impressed with Dr. Yanamadala, and his staff. Trisha is so helpful, and kind, never acts bothered or passes judgement. Ive never waited over 5 minutes to see him, and he offers the best IOP program, that specifically helps manage work, home, and life related stress. The therapist and other people in the group were so encouraging, I didn’t want to stop the program! By all means, I'm not perfect but I definitely learned coping skills and stress management tools to help better myself. Dr. Y has been excellent in treating my multiple diagnoses from day one. He is compassionate, caring and professional. He really listens to me, gives me hope that I can't say I had before. He is up to date on current medicines and treatments. I'm under going a new recently approved treatment now and have high hopes for good outcomes. Katie Jones is fabulous, she gives the treatments. Dr. Ashok Yanamadala is thee most professional, and thorough doctor related to his assessment and treatment modalities concerning you, as his patent. Furthermore, he is genuinely caring and compassionate in regards to managing mental illnesses. He doesn't just treat you as a patient with mental illness rather, he treats you as a human being that suffers from undeniable and irrefutable disease that affects your utter soul. I have been seeing Dr. Yanamadala for about 3 or 3 1/2 years. He is an amazing doctor. He is the only psychiatrist I found in 8 years that found the issues I needed to deal with and worked hard to get the right medications I needed. His "Staff" is also so amazing.
