Love this place! Have been getting my birthday cake from them for the last 4 years. Try their peanut butter fudge cake if you haven't done so! Highly recommend!!!

Their Triple Chocolate Cake is Fenomenal! Super moist and it’s not too sweet! And it’s freakinnn Vegannnn! (Not everything but most) It’s the perfect recipe! My brother is vegan, who would’ve thought that I would be eating VEGAN desserts. (Btw don’t be scared of the word VEGAN- taste Way better than desserts that aren’t vegan) All of their cakes and cookies have great texture and flavor! Since I found this place, we have not ordered cake or cookies or even PIE from anywhere else and Never will! We drive from an hour away just for their cakes! When I call in, no matter who I speak with, they are always courtesy and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure my questions are answered. But what I love most is just how they make me feel. Last year we ordered our wedding cake at Quack’s. It had three tiers with two almond cake with pastry cream filling and one with chocolate cake and raspberry filling, plus fondant icing. The cake tasted and looked great. For our anniversary they told us they would bake a mini cake. We picked a chocolate tier with raspberry filling. I’m sad to admit that I don’t get enough opportunities to visit Quacks. It’s an amazing little piece of Hyde Park. It’s a fun cafe environment with friendly staff. There is a huge selection of pastries, cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. It is one of the only places around that routinely sells cobbler. I want to purchase everything in here to sample.
