We just took our daughter today to celebrate her 10th birthday and we had a fantastic time. The brunch was so delicious with plenty of food selection, dessert delicious too. The band was amazing and even sang happy birthday to her making her feel even more special. There was dancing, singing and just a very fun time. The views were very scenic and service was great too. We had a great time and honestly can’t wait to do it again....we’re thinking of doing the fall foliage brunch cruise. I will recommend it to friends and family! More...

Brunch with Rudolph cruise on 12/22 was an amazing experience! All 15 of us, adults included, had a fantastic time! And the food was great for brunch. Definitely worth the money!

We booked the Rudolph on the River Cruise. We did not know what to expect as this was our first time using Lady Katherine. We were blown away. It was amazing. The kids had so much fun. Not only the kids but us adults too. The buffet was small with only a few choices but we weren’t there for the food. The experience as a whole was phenomenal. Santa, Mrs Claus, and Rudolph went table to table and spent a significant amount of time with each child. They danced with all the kids and made this a very magical and memorable experience. I booked the Fall Foliage Cruise for my daughter's 30th birthday. I called to make sure that all ten of us could sit together beforehand. I must say that everything was just perfect! My husband and I received a gift card for the cruise. The experience was kind and quick. The brunch was delicious. They had plenty of food so you definitely didn't need to worry about that. The view was beautiful. It was a pleasant ride. The only downside was that it was supposed to be jazz themed and there was no jazz music. They had someone singing to a piano, but it's not at all what I expected for music. Apart from that, it was a great experience. Meet some nice people at our table. More...

We enjoyed the cruise. The food was good, the salmon was so flavorful and staff was pleasant. The music was also nice. Would have given 5 stars if the carpet was vacuumed and it was a 3 hour tour instead of 2.

I have been working with Dawn she works with booking public cruises. Since the first day I spoke with her in regards to booking a graduation brunch for my family, she was awesome. She explained everything so clearly to me and went above and beyond to help create such amazing day for my daughter. Dawn is the type of person that clearly fits her position kind and understanding and great listener. I have never meant her personally but she listened and help me get over some bumps. My husband and I were pretty impressed with the brunch foliage cruise this morning. Although the foliage wasn't too prominent, the cruise itself was great. I didn't realize there would be a band on board, so that was nice. The food was great and the staff and service were good too. When I saw the cruise for the End of Summer Lobster cruise I knew I had to go no matter what. Somehow I forgot to sign up then I got a message it was sold out. I was very disappointed in myself for forgetting. I messaged Lady Katharine Cruises to see if there was any possible way for a single person to get a seat. Dawne was wonderful! Her reputation is by far true from all the other reviews. She is one of a kind genuine person that will make sure you have the time of your life. She got me a seat with two other couples next to the food, could not have asked for a better place. When I arrived I was a bit early so I was able to take a couple pictures and talk to the people around me. Come to figure the couple right in front of me was at the same table. Then the other couple came and we all had so much in common and so much to share that was different from everyone else that the night was not boring at all. After dinner and desert we all took a walk to the top to listen and dance to the awesome music the DJ was playing. The night was perfect in every way. No rain, the stars were out, and the fresh crisp air was spectacular! At the end of the night the two couples and myself said we need to keep in touch so we can do this cruise again next year together and sit at the same table 21. We had a beautiful and picturesque Sunday brunch down the scenic CT River going towards Deep River. Food was great staff was incredible. Thank you, Charlene, for making it memorable and so much fun. She was such an incredible hostess. Attentive and caring and the best.

Much more than brunch! I wanted to treat my parents to brunch and I found this truly unique venue where you can dine on a yacht on the CT River and dance/listen to music! It is the fall foliage brunch cruise on the Lady Katharine yacht called the Mystique. You arrive by 10:30am at Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam, and everyone begins the boarding process. You have pre-assigned tables and can request to sit together with family/friends ahead of time. The buffet brunch is hot and ready as soon as you board which is great because there are literally no lines – it’s a gradual process. Also, the food is out and replenished for a long time, so you don’t have to worry about not getting any, e.g. if you decide to partake in the music and view on the top deck first, you can eat when you are ready.The buffet consisted of salad, rolls, salmon, stuffed chicken with a delicious cranberry stuffing, tortellini, tender beef tips with gravy, carved ham with a delicious sauce, Belgian waffles with fruit and cream toppings, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, raw salmon w/capers and several desserts… I’m probably forgetting something. There is a cash bar but coffee, juice and tea are free ($3 for a fountain beverage which I thought was strange).The staff members were all incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a 3-piece band playing a variety of music on the top deck and people were having fun dancing. The views were amazing, especially seeing Gillette’s Castle from the water.For only $50-ish dollars per person, this was an awesome alternative to your usual brunch buffet! More...

I took my wife on a Sunday morning brunch cruise, departing from Middletown. The ship's staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Everything was explained regarding where to sit, food, and when the cruise would be leaving and returning. The staff was A+.The brunch was excellent. There were traditional breakfast foods, a waffle bar, a carving station, and pastries. There were also lunch foods available. Both breakfast and lunch choices were delicious, and the dessert bar was amazing.The view of the river was awesome. There was plenty of seating at the top of the ship and there wasn't a bad view on the boat. It is a cash/credit bar, but the prices are very fair and they don't overprice their drinks.I highly recommend Lady Kate cruises and I will for sure be back. More...

I went on a Sunday cruise with my boyfriend yesterday and it was very beautiful. It was Sunday brunch and we had a table to ourselves - I know the other reviewer here said she had to sit with strangers but we had a whole table to ourselves and all of the other tables were full. The food was good for brunch I thought - given that it's on a boat I thought it wasn't bad. They have live entertainment upstairs which was really nice and the weather was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. it seems that everyone was having a very good time and it was very relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I agree with the other reviewer that the inside needs a little bit of updating. I have been on this same boat seven years ago for an evening cruise and it was the same decor at the time. However it has been well kept up. I would definitely recommend a trip like this as it was a lot of fun.  On board there were two couples who were celebrating wedding anniversaries. One was celebrating a five year and the other was celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary. This would be a nice gift to parents for their anniversary. More...
