Our Design Process
The process is standard, but tailored to each client's project, so it may not look the same for your individual project
Getting to Know You
We meet with you and your family and learn more about you and your project. It’s my job to connect you with what makes you comfortable and map out the overall vision for your home and space. Working together, we sort out a timeline and budget. Then we put it all in writing to give you a clear idea about how the whole thing will go.
Design Concept
During this phase, we’ll assess your home in great detail. We start refining a plan for your final approval. This plan includes conceptual sketches, proposed floor plans (if necessary), and recommendations for textiles, wall treatments, window coverings, flooring, and other materials for your project. In this step you will be able to visualize your design, and how your home will come together.
Purchasing and Procurement
After the final design plan is approved we then set the final budget and begin the procurement and purchasing phase (this phase is tailored to our individual clients and projects - so it may look different for your project). I request the fabrication of custom pieces and order the other furnishings as outlined in our plan. I keep close tabs on the process and keep you up to date. And then the exciting part, we set the date!
Installation and Final Touches
My team thoroughly inspects each piece of new furniture and gets it ready for installation. They will also start painting, based on the color schemes we’ve picked out. When the house is ready, we firm up the delivery date for furnishings, window treatments, area rugs, etc.

What inspired you to start your own business?
The desire to make a difference in people's lives through design, combined with my entrepreneurial spirit, ultimately led me to take the leap and start my own interior design business. I wanted to create a platform where I could channel my creativity, foster meaningful relationships with clients, and bring their vision to life.

We have added a flexible virtual interior design package, and do our best to find and work with contractors and vendors that are COVID-19 safe, precautious, and honest.

Remodels and New Construction
The LCDC team will guide you through a new construction project or renovation from the initial concept, choosing hard finishes, custom goods, and project management, all the way through the finished concept for occupancy.

Space Plan and Layout
LCDC creates two-dimensional drawings to scale that show a room or building from above. It indicates the relationships between rooms on one level of a structure.

LCDC will come in and create a plan for accessories and additional pieces that will complete the look you have in mind.
Home Staging
The LCDC team will decorate your home to sell quickly and for more money on the real estate market. We set the stage for potential home buyers to imagine how they could live in a property and make it their home.
1:1 Guidance Consultation
A one-hour call that will dive deep into making your interior design dreams a reality. I will go room by room giving you suggestions and the next steps to completing your project. This service will also include necessary links to help make the space magazine-worthy.
