I had the pleasure of doing a boudoir session with Lacey as a wedding gift for my husband. I was extremely nervous and with low self-esteem, thought it was a bad idea. However, Lacey explained in detail what was going to happen and made me feel less nervous. By the time my hair and makeup were done, I was completely at ease and we had a blast!!! A bit long, but worth the read!I finally have a moment to post about my candle photo shoot with Lacey. This is my second shoot with Lacey. The first was the shower photo shoot. One of my best friends came with me this time. She was interested in possibly doing one so I invited her along.I love these as much as my first, if not more! I was much more confident this time around and let my guard down more. We laughed *a lot*! And just had fun playing around for photos. One of the photos I didn't choose was my laughing hard. Only because the others were better and it didn't fit what I was going for.For those of you who haven't done this style yet, go for it! It is so much fun and turns out gorgeous! Be careful to not roll into the candle fire! lol I splurged and bought some panties and bralettes on sale (I'm still a woman on a budget) through Torrid for these shoots and brought them and things I already had, dumped them on the bed, and we went from there! But, you don't have to buy new items. Pull from what you have. Your favorite pearls, lingerie, panties, heels, or your husband's / fiance's / boyfriend's / wife's / fiancee's / girlfriend's shirt and boxers. Doesn't matter. Lacey will pose you and use what you have and pieces she has to make you look and feel stunning!If you've debated on doing a shoot and haven't found the courage yet, take the leap! The minis are a great, affordable option to try your hand at them. I'm working on figuring out my budget so I can do a full hour shoot. I'm addicted! And you will be, too. Trust Lacey. More importantly, trust and love yourself. I couldn't help but make sassy remarks about this fat roll or that double chin. I got lectured (with love) both times by Lacey and this time by my bestie, Mary. And, I'm glad they did. That negative inner voice is hateful and unnecessary. They both pointed out what was beautiful and sexy and I had to admit... they were right! lol I mean, just look at these! Lacey pointed out she didn't have a magic camera. She hadn't even edited them yet and I was, like, wow! These are amazing! She has a great eye and knows how to accentuate your best "assets." You know what features you love (and don't). Lean in and show off everything! Let Lacey make you feel like the Queen you are! It's showing me in a new light... to me. A me I knew existed, but beat down into submission. I'm trying to stop that.
