The Lace and Lilies team was an absolute dream to work with! These ladies have got. it. going. on!!! As a long-time Instagram follower who likes to keep up with their beautiful flower designs, I knew we had to choose them for our wedding when we got engaged. Kelly and Lacey were so sweet and professional. They asked all the right questions to figure out more about my husband and me and what we wanted our flower arrangements to look like for our wedding day. We went with an eclectic mix of flowers, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. The dahlias and anemones were the most favorite part of my bouquet and all of the other arrangements. As a lover of all flowers, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed, but we were absolutely blown away with the colors and shapes and textures of the flowers and plants they chose for our arrangements. These gals are AMAZING.To top it off, I changed my mind a few weeks before our wedding about wanting a flower crown, and they were so understanding and accommodating. Even though I am writing this a year after we booked and worked with Lace and Lilies as our florist for our elopement, we are still blown away by the support from Kelly and the team and the absolutely stunning creations they made! From the very beginning, their communication was incredible and meant we found it easy to relay what we'd like, what kind of styles we were looking for and explore ideas. This was especially important because ALL the planning happened for our Colorado elopement while the two of us were in the UK and we were planning everything for a venue we had only visited once (me) or 2-3 times (my husband). Our Skype video chats with the team were so much fun! We decided to keep a lot of what we did for our elopement under wraps because we decided to repeat everything the following year, including our outfits and much of the styling, in a larger UK celebration with wider family and friends and wanted it to be a surprise. It has been very difficult NOT to share the photos, though, especially of the GORGEOUS flowers: bouquet, boutonniere, flowers for an arch, some for my hair, the cake, some to be used in 2 places which was an amazing idea of theirs meaning we saved resources, and more. I knew years before I got engaged that I wanted to hire Lace and Lilies for my wedding! Not only are they some of the most creative and imaginative people ever, they are also the kindest and most thoughtful people ever. I feel so incredibly lucky they did the flowers for my wedding! When I came in for a planning session I told them 2 types of flowers I liked and we created a color palet and then I told them to do what they do best. Wow. Where do I even begin? Lace and Lillies is a dream come true. If flowers are as important to you as they are for me / were for me on my wedding day, then look no further. Lace and Lillies is exceptional! They spent countless hours on the phone, email, FaceTime with me talking through my vision and were beyond accommodating and supportive even when my mind changed for the millionth time. They were patient, kind, responsive... they were simply there for me. They turned my dream into a reality and made it look effortless at that (although it was far from effortless). What can we say that so many before us haven't already!? I was a florist by trade when I first encountered Lace and Lilies, and I knew almost immediately that I was going to have them do the flowers at my wedding. Many brides who are florists think to themselves 'I should just do my own flowers!', and I knew that would just be a stressful mistake. So it came down to finding someone I trusted with my own florist vision, but also someone who could take it to the next level and create something completely unique. I was impressed by many things, but namely their amazing use of their quality product which they inspect before anything goes into a bouquet, boutonniere, etc. It seems like each stem has a purpose for being included in each creation and nothing is "filler". During the consultation process and the processes afterwards, I felt completely at ease that they understood my vision. But I also felt that they were going to create magic, and I couldn't wait to see. They were one of the vendors I just didn't have to worry about. Both me, my husband, and all of our guests were blown away by what they created and people still are talking about the flowers today! Our flowers were amazing and exactly what we wanted! A few weeks before the wedding I decided I wanted to add a neon sign as a backdrop for photos. I highly recommend using Lace + Lillies if you want your exact wedding vision to be executed perfectly. I immediately clicked with them discussing my vision on the phone and knew I wanted to work with them, and they got as excited about what I wanted as I was. I was disappointed when their quote came back higher than other florists I had interviewed, but they had no problem figuring out a good compromise that still stayed true to what I wanted, while also lowering the cost. The day of, everything was as I had imagined, even better! I never had a single stressful moment when working with L + L, which is VITAL on your wedding day. Obviously it helped that I had an amazing wedding planner that they worked with seamlessly, but I truly believe that they would have made the wedding day a breeze even without one. I had a florist already for my wedding this past July but unfortunately had to fire her A MONTH before the wedding. If I could leave them a million stars I would. I am CRAZY, particular about everything. I am extremely picky and expect absolute perfection. Everyone at lace and lilies was so incredibly patient with me, dealing with me changing my mind multiple times even 2 days before my scheduled pick up adding things. They responded to emails extremely quick, and I sent them probably a hundred. They truly went above and beyond and made my flower dreams come true despite impossible circumstances with potential blizzard conditions at my wedding. Day of pick up, I wanted to make a couple changes to my bouquet, and not only did they do it but they went above and beyond making sure I was 150% happy before I left, and with a huge smile on her face! They NEVER once acted annoyed with me, and seemed TRULY happy with every single interaction. I was annoyed with myself honestly, so for them to be soooo incredibly kind was awesome! Literally the best flowers + service. These ladies were unmatched in regards to creativity, service, and price. We planned our Estes Park wedding from our home in Minnesota. I never had the fortune of meeting any of the team, but that didn’t make me any less of a customer to them. They regularly sent me emails to check in and contributed to my vision board.
