I just had my wedding here about a week and a half ago, and it went perfect. Bud and Linda were extremely helpful and not at all pushy or interfering. They were sweet and caring from start to end. The garden looked beautiful and even all my guests had fun going out and taking pictures of themselves with all the fixtures and flowers. The food was great and they made sure everyone had enough to eat. I had a gluten free guest and they made a special plate just for her all gluten free and made sure she had plenty as well! The staff who helped serve was very polite. While we were out taking pictures we had our own staff member who came out and made sure we had drinks right away and that we were able to enjoy the food from our cocktail hour. My wedding was on November 23, 2018. I must said it was beyond anything I was expecting. Bud and Linda made my day absolutely perfect. Food was just delicious. Everything went as planned and I got everything I paid for. Honestly everything was great and as I was told my deposit was given to me with a couple of things that I left behind on my wedding day rushing to spend some alone time with my now husband lol. Man, I must say that after reading some of these reviews I had reservations about coming here. We decided to follow through based on our experience with Bud and Linda and I have absolutely no regrets. All meetings and phone conversations were pleasant, informative and helpful. They gave us suggestions and not once tried to pressure us into purchasing extra. They gave us prices of services and extras we inquired about and made suggestions on a few things we had not thought of. Bud and Linda was very respectful of our desires for our wedding and also of our wedding guests. The place was amazing and everything promised and agreed upon for the day of was delivered. The food was delicious and all my guests was very happy! Everyone commented on how beautiful the grounds were. My only regret was I felt I didn't take it all in more. My wedding went smoothly despite me being a little late and Bud assisted my day of coordinator with everything she needed. His speech for the cake cutting was funny and well appreciated and he always asked permission before doing anything my MC would be doing. Despite us having a day of coordinator he was still present to make sure we stayed on schedule (not in a controlling way) and it was very much appreciated. After the major events passed, he went to his office and was not seen again until it was time to go. I cannot speak on the negative reviews on here but what I will say, based on our experience is that it is worth a try. (Also, there were absolutely no hidden fees or surprises anywhere. I can only speak on my own experience at La Mirage and it was an excellent one! We got married on 4/20/18 and everything was great! The garden setup was beautiful and Linda and Bud did an awesome job inside! We did not have any surprise expenses as we already knew what we were getting ahead of time. Our family and friends had a wonderful time and loved the food! If we could do it again we would! Thanks again to La Mirage for making David and my wedding truly a day to remember for a lifetime! my daughters wedding was this past Saturday and I can not say enough good things about this place I did not find bud who Is the owner to be in any off my pictures like people say and did not find him to be a dictator what I did feel was he was on the ball with how the wedding should go and got everything done so that my daughter and her husband could have a perfect day which they did . the food was great service was great and I can not go on with how beautiful the gardens and the banquet room was it was absolutely gorgous and linda also was awesome and performed the ceremony and did a great job. everyone that was at the wedding said how beautiful the place was and hpw they had the best time and people at the wedding said it was the best place they have ever been to I couldn't agree more. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The coordinators are very friendly and know what they are doing. We had a wedding there two weeks ago on the 3rd and everything was perfect. The weather was nice so it was an outdoor wedding in their garden and it was breathtaking. They had everything under control and we all had a fantastic time. I would definitely recommend this venue for any event. If your looking for a venue and don't know what you want, take a trip there. From the outside to the inside and to see the chandelier and the winding staircase that leads to the bridal suite. They have 2 reception halls to accommodate any size guests list. On Sunday I had my daughters wedding here. I wish I could 5 and above stars. The venue itself is breathtaking. The spiral staircase leading to the bridal suite is stunning. The outside chapel area just embraced Gods nature beauty and completed a wedding made in heaven. The food, the food, the food was so delicious. The professional, respectful, compassionate service you received is evident from beginning to end!!!! Thank you Bud, Linda, and your entire staff for making my daughter and son in laws special day one to remember from now until forever. My husband and I got married here about a month ago. The ceremony was beautiful, everyone is still raving about the food, but there were a few serious issues that prevented me from giving a 5 star rating. First, the vegetarian option that we sampled to be served, was not served. We sampled a pasta primavera, which was Devine (my husband is vegetarian), yet he was served a vegetarian lasagna at our actual wedding (he was disappointed, and felt bad for bragging about what he expected to other vegetarians in attendance). Second, Bud hijacked our cake cutting (the DJ fought him, vehemently, and was on the verge of tears when he told us that he wouldn’t be allowed to MC the part of the event). We rolled with the punches, but felt very uncomfortable during the cake cutting, and many of our guests commented on the disjointed change in this plan. If Bud is going to insist on this, he needs to make it clear to the bride and groom before hand so they can consider that when choosing the venue. Lastly, one of the waitstaff spilled steak sauce all over one of the bridesmaids. I understand that mistakes happen, but they never even apologized (I personally feel the venue should have offered to pay to have it cleaned). All of that being said, it was still the best night of our lives, and I know that Bud cared very much about our happiness, and we will cherish our wedding memories. More...
