My husband and I got married last year, July 3, 2016 and we were recently talking about our wedding and how amazing Mama T and Renee are and I just had to write a review!

Top 5 things about not only La Grande, but with their lovely staff!

1. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. If you want an outdoor wedding with a sprouting lake and beautiful garden along with an outside tent for your reception, this place is the spot!

2. Mama T and Renee always had such big smiles and hugs for us every time we met with them! They treated us like family!

3. Mama T and Renee called me their #1 texter. They would respond so fast with any questions or concerns at all hours of the day. They kept me calm during my "Bridezilla moments"!

4. I am a detailed oriented, organized person and so are Mama T and Renee so planning with them was a blast!

5. Our wedding day was stress free and Mama T and Renee treated my husband and I like royalty.

To plan the perfect wedding every detail has to be carefully thought out. My daughter had always had dreams of the perfect wedding. She had been planning her wedding since she was a little girl. We just had our daughter's wedding reception for about 110 people there last night (June 7, 2014). It was perfect!!! Everything was better and more beautiful than expected. They exceeded my expectations! The house and grounds are stunning. The staff provides service with a smile and handles little hiccups with ease. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. They took to the odds and ends we provided for decorating and turned it in to a cohesive, beautiful setting. Mother T was an invaluable help from the very beginning of the planning process to the bitter end helping to get everything loaded in our car. We received nothing but compliments from our guests. This property is so beautiful and well maintained it is absolutely amazing for any event. The family that runs La Grande go above and beyond for their clients, vendors, and their employees and are more than just welcoming and generous, they make you feel like family. When I googled the venue initially I was not impressed. Once we drove into the property we were in awe. It was so amazing. Enjoyed my friends beautiful marriage ceremony at the lovely La Grande!!! The grounds are spacious and peaceful with the fountain. .....the setting takes you away to a beautiful place. This review is long over due as my husband Donovan and I got married at La Grande on August 8,2015. We unexpectedly had to change our wedding venue a month before our wedding without notice. Luckily we found La Grande or you could say La Grande found us. We didn’t know it at the time but loosing our previous wedding venue turned out to be the biggest blessing! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding and 260+ guests. Momma T and Rene greeted us with open arms and I think possibly a box of tissue and reassured us that our wedding would go off without a hitch, having just lost our venue that we had booked over a year prior, I took that with a grain of salt and thought to myself, “the vision of my perfect wedding that I had been planning for over a year was gone and what could we possibly accomplish in just a few weeks with a new venue that didn’t fit the theme I had envisioned for the past year at our previous venue.

During the next four weeks, Momma T & Rene were wonderful and we accomplished the following:
• Picked out new linens and silverware
• Coordinated with our caterer so that we could still have the menu of food we had picked out
• Set-up and served our kids via a kids buffet
• Coordinated a beverage package that worked for us, since we were planning to purchase our own alcohol
• Allowed us to bring in our own wine barrels and arbor for the ceremony site
• Rearranged the reception entrance for our 2 Adirondack chairs which served as our guest books
• Worked with our wedding coordinator (something that they normally don’t do, since they are the experts at their venue)
• Always available to talk via phone, text, email

Needless to say, everything went off without a hitch and Momma T & Rene were absolutely wonderful and made everything that had gone on the previous few weeks seem like an afterthought and our wedding was beautiful. If we didn’t have to tell all our guests about the venue change, no one would have known that we had changed venues just about a month prior to our wedding.

La Grande is a gorgeous setting for a wedding or any large event. We had a dinner/dance fundraiser at La Grande this past October 2016 and it was fabulous. We increased the amount of ticket sales by a lot compared to the past years and I think it was due to this unique venue. Renee and Mama T were so accommodating to our needs and offered so many suggestions, without changing what our vision was for the event. We loved working with them! My son got married her in October 2016 Renee and Mama T are amazing, the venue, staff, food, atmosphere are all beyond words. Most amazing and smooth wedding ever! The venue is breath taking, lush beautiful gardens, gorgeous home with huge bridal sweet.. No detail goes unplanned and every single guest is well taken care of! So happy we found these ladies they absolutely made planning and the wedding day perfect! I might shed a teardrop writing this, this place is awesome. I looked around for several months trying to find the place that fits my husband and I and that sent chills to my heart. From the moment I walked in and met Mama T and Renee and how there seem to really care about what they did and making you happy made our decision. I love love love La Grande. Renee and Mother T were so kind, loving, generous and over all amazing! They are all what they say they are and more! This is my first wedding and both Renee and Mother T were so wonderful in answering all my questions via text or email and it didn't matter what time of the day or what they were doing, they always responded in a prompt and timely matter. They did such a great job that I didn't feel stressed, I enjoyed my special day with Renee and Mother T.

Big shout out to Renee. I had last minute even last second changes enough to drive someone up the wall but Renee handled it and not only did she take care of it she did it with smiles and laughter and put us at ease.

I wish we had more time to celebrate this memorable day! Just goes to show you that time flies when you are having fun and that what Renee and Mother T helped us with.

Renee and Mother T are so organized and it is truly a blessing to have worked with them. Everything worked out from the beginning to the end. It was really meant for us to enter La Grande and meet Renee and Mother T.

These women are beyond incredible from beginning to end they are on it! Not only is this one the most georgeous spots to get married the staff is amazing and soooo helpful. You def. get your monies worth. I have heard nothing but great feedback from guests.
