Beautiful attractive stylish venue with dedicated, professional passionate owners/operators! Has on-site wedding chapel steps away from venue for reception! Convenient to San Antonio (about 20 minutes vs lots of wedding venues in Comfort that are an hour away!). Great spot for a surprise party (like the one I DJd for here) since it's basically across the street from the Wildlife Safari park and caverns so you could pull a good psych out that way. La Fontana Springs is a beautiful venue....I see a lot of beautiful venues as a floral designer. What makes this venue different is the people. Celia, the owner and head coordinator, is simply amazing. I don't think she knows the expression it can't be done. She and her team find a way and the results, without fail, are beautiful. Every bride and groom, their family and friends are her focus and she doesn't stop until she delivers the wedding of their dreams. I attended a event last weekend and was amazed at the level of service that Celia and her Staff provided. She saw to it that everyone was taken care of from the beginning of the wedding till the end of the night. I hated for the night to end because we were enjoying ourselves so much. The food was excellent and we had our choice of cocktails to choose from. I would highly recommend LaFontana Springs for any type of event weather you are celebrating a wedding, birthday, anniversary or even a retirement party. This is the perfect all in one venue.We held our wedding here in June and everything went off without a hitch. The DJ was great and played a variety of genres based on the playlist we requested prior to the event as well as taking special request from guest per our request. Celia was awesome! She was so attentive without being intrusive. She ensured guest were greeted and seated promptly. Her efforts made our day fun and much much less stressful. The food was fantastic and just as good as it was the day of our tasting. We received numerous compliments from our guest about how good to food was and how much fun they had. I had my wedding at La Fontana Springs on June 2, 2018 and I cannot thank Celia and Stephen enough for making my wedding the magical fairy tale wedding I had always dreamed of. We had a romantic country wedding and La Fontana Springs provided the perfect venue. From the moment you pull up and see the twinkling fairy lights you know this is a magical place. The horses and the fountain add to the ambiance but what really made my day magical was the wedding coordinator/ owner Celia. I am a busy nurse practitioner and my mother is no longer with us. Celia listened to everything I asked for and made it happen. We opted to do the ceremony in the chapel. I wanted wine barrels on either side of the alter with flowers. Celia made it happen. I wanted hay bales with a sign that said "Today I marry my best friend". Celia made it happen. She was also the one who recommended sparklers. Some of our best photos are the ones with sparklers. The places to take photos on the property are breath taking. The food is delicious. I was treated like a princess from start to finish. When my fiancee and I toured La Fontana Springs the first time, we had scheduled 2 other showings with 2 other venues. After neeting Celia and Stephen we promptly canceled our meetings with the other 2 venues. We have never regretted it for a moment. Our wedding was perfect and EVERYTHING I envisioned. I would recommend La Fontana Springs to any bride and groom. Whatever your vision is, I truly beleive Celia and Stephen could make it come true be it simple and country or grand elegant and modern. They are both true artists. Celia did not leave out 1 detail. She pinned the boutineers on the boys and men and even wore a yellow blouse coordinating with my color scheme. Ok, it's been 4 months since our wedding, which was on March 24th, 2018 and we had around 150 guests for our wedding. Today is July 23rd, 2018 so you know I am not writing this review while I am still mesmerized by the butterfly feelings of a magical day. I am telling you as a person who plans in advance at least 13 months in order to plan for a wedding to a woman who he has fallen deeply in love with. After all that, let me tell you that all the plans that I had, didn't go as planned just because life can do that to you. However, my wife fell in love not just with this venue, but the person behind it (Celia). Her and her husband Stephen kept pace with us from the moment we first looked at the venue all the way through each step of the wedding planning process, to the last car leaving the facility. We had a long list of venues to look at, but as soon as she met Celia, we cancelled everything else we were going to look at. The venue can cater to your needs, but in the end you have to be realistic. You get what you pay for and quality cost money. My review is to invest you and your loved ones hard earned money not just on a venue, but the person who actually cares about making this one of the best nights you can imagine. Shirly and I will always be grateful for Celia, and our only regret is not planning the wedding 2 years in advance so that we could make sure that Celia was able to be a part of each part of the wedding arrangements. Come into this with an open heart, an open mind, and make sure you have a good understanding of what is important in the end on this day. I highly recommend La Fontana Springs as a wedding venue. The owner really went above and beyond for us. She really helped us plan everything for no additional charge and was always very gracious and kind. The venue is LGBTQ friendly.We were only expecting to get the hall but we basically got a wedding planner/day-of coordinator for free. We were planning our wedding from across the country at first and she made a point to skype with us to show us the venue. She met with us multiple times when we were actually in town. She went over our ceremony with us and made suggestions, she helped us go over all of the events for the night to help us plan. She helped us come up with possible decorations and even set up a snapchat filter for the wedding day. Over the past year of wedding planning she was in contact with us the entire year to help out.The hall is beautiful and there is an outdoor area perfect for a ceremony. Plenty of space inside for a large dancefloor and plenty of guests. There are private rooms available for the wedding party and the wedding couple to store belongings and valuables for the day.This hall is more than worth the money. Excellent planning and service!We recently had my nephew's wedding and reception at La Fontana Springs and it was wonderful. We had the wedding outside and it was a little warm so the staff and even the owner constantly brought out water to the guests. Then the reception was outstanding. If you are looking to have a perfect wedding than this is the place for you! Celia, the owner, is exactly the type of person you want on your side when it comes to planning a wedding. She was everything you could possibly need from a wedding coordinator and venue owner. She seemed to know when I needed her to just listen to me or help with ideas & suggestions for making my fairy tale wedding possible. Her staff on my special day were great at setting up my decorations, making my guests & me comfortable and making sure that everyone was genuinely enjoying themselves. The venue itself is so beautiful whether you are looking to have an indoor or outdoor wedding. I had an indoor wedding for my ceremony and reception which they made possible without us feeling overcrowded and cluttered. The food was absolutely delicious and I know for a fact that plates being cleaned up were bare and during dinner all you could hear was silverware on plates because no one was talking, just eating. I found their rates to be extremely reasonable and whenever I had any concerns, Celia was quick to respond and get things taken care of before I had any time to stress about it which is something every bride should have when planning a wedding. Just had our event here and we loved this place! The new owners are doing all the right things! I was amazed at how they handled our event. Celia and her husband over delivered on every promise. We had about 300 people here and their security persoanlly took care of making sure every car was parked properly on grounds without an issue. They were doing construction on the back when we came for our rehearsal a few days before, and things were a bit upside down, but on the day of, it was gorgeous. They fixed things that we were worried about, handled every guest with care, and made our day all the more special. It's hard to know where to start, because there are so many great things to say about this event center. The location is scenic and nestled at the perfect spot of an intimate engagement or to host large events while getting away from the city. The inside of the facility is absolutely beautiful (like its surroundings). The amenities offered are enough to take care of any needs and the owners are two amazing people who both have an eye for decor, art, and transformation. We were married at La Fontana Springs October 2014. The venue is beautiful. The reception area has a lot of space, is well decorated, and has a large window with a spectacular view where it seemed you could see out for miles. The ceremony space outside is perfect with beautiful landscaping and an altar that gave way for a romantic and seemingly intimate ceremony. While the beauty of the venue would have been enough to allow us to make our decision to have our wedding there, the real selling point for us were the owners, Cesar and Nancy Trivino. They seemed to know the wedding business extremely well, but it was very apparent that it was more than just a business for them, they have a passion for what they do. They didn’t only help to throw a good wedding, they helped to give us the wedding of our dreams. They were there for us through every step of the process, from the initial meeting to saying goodbyes the night of the event. We immediately felt comfortable with them and felt that they cared for our day, and put the time, thought, and effort into it as if it were someone from their own family getting married. Every phone call and email was answered immediately, and any concerns we had were alleviated. Both Cesar and Nancy recommended anything they could to assist in the planning, and did whatever they could to keep the cost down. They took care of the entire set up on the wedding day, and it was stunning. They allowed us to use their beautiful centerpieces, and Nancy (being as creative as she is) even took some of the organza chair sashes that were included in our linens package and used them to decorate our ceremony space, allowing us to keep to a budget and still have our event look like we spent so much more than we actually had to. They were amazing on the wedding day and both were there the entire time, allowing us and our family to be able to enjoy the event rather than having to worry about all the details. To say they are amazing is truly an understatement. It is easy to see that they love what they do, and the most important thing to them at the end of the event is that their bride and groom leave, not merely satisfied, but with all their dreams and expectations met above and beyond.
