The warm, fresh bread will tempt anyone who lays eyes on it with its fresh garlic and warm olive oil try to stop yourself from eating it all. On top of the warmth of the bread the warmth of the owner is top notch, working side by side he cooks while she warms you up with her kind smile and Italian charm. We like the food there but we went as a family to celebrate a birthday and it was very hot and I think they could have used more wait help. Our food was good but my son's alfredo wasn't up to par. It took a long time for all of our meals to be served so my daughter in law received her meal long after the first meal was served. I have dinner with my friends and family each week at la dolce vita. The service is very good. The food is great. The owner Mr Sal is out going and friendly. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner after a girl's day and everything was really good. Their fried calamari was excellent. It was well seasoned and the batter was crispy. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The garlic knots were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only complaint would be for more garlic.
