So i went there this morning, they were busy so i was very patient. I asked for 2 vanilla latte's and 6 cheese kolaches. The two lattes didnt have no flavor at all just milk and no sugar. Not what i wanted, then the 6 kolaches were cold, frozen almost. Then they were 2.25 each, 2.25 EACH! They were literally basic kolaches you buy frozen at the store. My daughter and I went here on my recommendation and I was very disappointed. The coffee was great, and the service was friendly; however, they overcharged me by almost $20. When I pointed it out, at first she acted like my math was bad and then, when I spelled it out for her, she said let me check again. She ended up saying that the previous transaction hadn't been closed out and had accidentally been added to mine. I suppose that's a possibility although my daughter said that she didn't see how that could be if the previous patron had paid. Also, I had ordered pies because last time the pie was delicious. This time when I got to the second window to pick up my order they told me that two of the pies were still frozen but that they would be great in 15 minutes. I asked if I needed to reheat or anything like that and they said no just give it about 15 minutes. Boy were they wrong! The pie crust was so soggy even the seven-year-old didn't eat hers. More...

A new coffee shop in Kyle and it has a drive-through! Stopped in to get the little one a treat. I had a Toffee frappe, she had a banana strawberry smoothie, and we shared a strawberry peach pie. Everything was delicious! They have a little area with games and we plan on going back another day to check those out. Only down side is they have very limited seating - maybe that's because of the drive-through window? I'm hoping they add some more seats. Go check them out! More...

I come here like 3-4 times a week for their iced lavender oat milk latte and it's the best I've had in years. I used to work in coffee in Austin and I just adore this spot. We often make the trip from Austin to the Texas coast and pass through Lockhart. A few trips back, we were pleasantly surprised to see this very cute coffee shop and had to stop - so glad we did. The coffee is excellent - I always get the dark roast and it's rich and nutty and well worth the stop. They source their coffee beans from Honduras and they are roasted in Houston. Kyle needs more coffee spots and this one has a great potential. The staff was friendly and the inside had a good vibe, BUT the 2 Lattes we ordered were so weak, you couldn't taste the coffee.

I've been coming here for a couple weeks now and feel like I have tried it enough to make an informed review. I think it's a solid three stars. Pros: 1) The staff is mostly nice (there has been 1 or 2 people who seemed like they were having a bad day and some AMAZING ones). 2) Their iced mocha slammed so hard. 3) They have nice large options. 4) They are local. 5) You earn rewards quickly. Cons:1) Almost always out of something. 2) When I have gotten a kolache, it was still frozen in parts, making it super disappointing. 3) Slow slow slow - for instance today I sat at the box for 5 minutes with no one coming to. I even backed up and pulled forward for the sensor. I finally had to pull to window to get help. Over all it's okay. More expensive than Starbucks and less consistent with product, may go back to the original. More...

Loved the coffee, normally if I purchase coffee, I will reheat it over and over. Never had to do that with this one!! It was good to the last drop from Hot to Cold!!! Highly recommend!

I am so pleased to be the first to review Kyle's Daily Grind! This is my first of what I presume to be many more visits! The staff was smiling, friendly, courteous and professional. We were on the go with dogs in tow so we didn't go inside, but opted for the drive through. We had iced chai lattes (with a special request for heavy cream rather than milk) and it was a refreshing, creamy delight with just the right spice! Can't wait to try more items. Went this morning and not only did they mess up my wife’s order(very simple BTW, 2 blueberry muffins and a coffee), but the wait time was ridiculous, not because of an overwhelming amount of people but rather very unorganized staff. On a recent road trip I got a hankering for a coffee. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I do enjoy the occasional latte. While passing through Lockhart I passed this cute little coffee drive thru. A cute polite girl came out to take my order on a mobile device even though there were only 2 cars ahead of us. I ordered a hot decaf latte with half & half and sugar free caramel (they had several sugar free choices). My My it was so delicious! It really hit the spot! Their sign said they were established in 2020...one of the good things to come out of that year! With such great coffee and impeccable service they should have no problem thriving.
