What’s your interior design process?
We like to learn about the space and the nature of the desired project: Is this a new build-out, renovation, building addition, or new construction? Next, we will schedule a meeting. This first meeting will most likely be virtual, as we like to meet “face-to-face” with our clients.
During the consultation, we will review: your project, schedule, budget, and questions or concerns. In order to properly express your vision, it is critical that we get to know you and the message you wish to communicate. During the initial consultation the emphasis is on doing just this. We ask a lot of questions about the market you serve, how you interact with your customers, your current and/or future office space, and perhaps most importantly your vision for the new space.
Bottom-line: we spend the bulk of the time during this process listening to what you have to say. In listening to what we are told we are better able to refine our approach to match your needs.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Frustrated with the limited availability of contemporary furniture, James Kuester began to utilize his knowledge of industrial materials to design home furnishings and assist business owners with creating a space their patients could be comfortable in.
In the beginning, James’ practice specialized in a full range of interior design services for specifically dental offices. Now, Küster Design and its design projects have expanded to include a full range of interior services for commercial, healthcare, and residential clients.
