Krzystyna Caldarone

I had the fortune of working with Kryzstyna twice - once in the studio in Boston and the other time during the Roaring 20s Lawn Party where she was doing tin type photos. Both experiences were very positive. I did a pinup session with her in Boston. While she is based in Rhode Island, she does come up to Boston from time to time. I do admit that I had a hard time finding for the studio from the Orange Line (even my phone's GPS was confused), but I was able to find a taxi to get there - it's in this warehouse type art space. I brought two dresses that I recently bought for the shoot. I got two looks for hair and make up. Mind you, this was my first pinup shoot and I didn't know what to expect. She had a lot of amazing posing ideas and she really helped you work through it. The downside of the Boston studio is that it's very limited; she has a ton more stuff available in her Rhode Island location. If you're in New England and are even considering doing a pinup shoot, I highly rec. working with Vintage Girl Studios - prices are worth it and it will show! More...

Krzystyna is absolutely amazing. We had a tin type done by her and she was very nice and professional. She made us feel very comfortable as she posed us and adjusted us so we would looks our best. Thank you again so much!

Krystyna made me feel so comfortable and her studio is a wonderland! She did an amazing job explaining poses in a way I could understand. She even showed me some of the pictures at different parts of the shoot. This was super helpful because as a first time pinup, I wanted to be aware of my faces and posture and know what was working and what wasn't. Krzystyna is amazing!I wanted to get my husband an awesome gift for his birthday, and I thought that photos of me as a pin-up girl would fit that bill. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to pull off such a dramatic look, but the hair & makeup team made me look incredible, and Krzystyna coached me through all the poses. The results were incredible, and I just wish that I could afford to buy every photo she took.Now I'm just looking for another reason to go back! More...
