Krystal was fantastic! My wedding was last weekend and not only was my photographer but she also helped to keep everyone on track! She was a joy to work with! Can't wait for my pictures to be ready! Our daughter was married last weekend at Fearrington Village and Krystal was an absolutely stellar talent in every way!!
She was on Fearrington's preferred vendor list and there is certainly a reason why!! She made the happy couple feel so at ease from the very first meeting and with their engagement shoot. She is professional, calm, sweet and definitely knows her stuff! We chose her package with an engagement photo session, 10 hours on the wedding day and open access to all photos. Even with adding a second shooter per her suggestion..her fee was more than reasonable for all that we received in time and talent!!! She managed to be everywhere at once capturing every moment and everyone! We cannot say enough about the wedding pictures we've seen thus far...excitedly awaiting the full body of work to be released!!

Krystal is truly one of a kind! She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we are over-the-moon happy with them all! Krystal allowed us to have TWO engagement sessions at no extra expense to us, because we wanted to have photos taken at Fearrington (our venue) as well as Elon University (our alma mater, which was a 45 minute commute for her!). The day of our wedding, she was "on it" in every aspect, and I did not find myself worrying about anything photo-related because I knew it was being well taken care of. I would recommend her to any and ALL brides, especially those who are getting married/having a reception at Fearrington. Her familiarity with all aspects of Fearrington make her a step ahead of the rest. We plan to use her and her talents for family photos in years to come! More...

Working with Krystal Kast was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process – which is harder said than done as neither my husband nor I typically like being the center of attention! Our friends and family were so impressed with Krystal throughout the entire wedding. She knew all of the best places to take photos, made sure to get photos of all the guests, yet also worked seamlessly behind the scenes and did not take away from any personal moments we had. The finished product is also impeccable—our photos are beautifully finished, artistic, and everything we asked for and more. Choosing Krystal as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. Krystal was professional, attentive, organized, with us from day’s start to day’s end, and the end results were just what we were hoping for.
No gimmicky editing, no over-the-top Photoshop additions; just beautiful pictures that captured our day just as we remembered it.
She also included an engagement photo shoot in her package and made that day a lot of fun. It was the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding day. She made us feel comfortable and natural and it definitely showed in our photographs
