Words cannot do this woman's work justice. What Krista has captured for my husband are timeless FEELINGS. She photographed love, vulnerability, pure joy, our beautiful bond. . . and she did it all by making us feel absolutely comfortable and supported. Getting in front of the camera is not always an easy task, but when you have a professional and grounded photographer to work with, it feels like no one is watching and you can be yourself. Krista met with us and learned about the goals of each of our photography sessions (yes, we love her work so much that we have worked with her multiple times!) and she then found the perfect settings for the shoots. She nailed everything from the lighting and soft colors for our engagement photos to color correcting the tones of our professional headshots to match our website theme. She also did a lot of prep work and had ideas for poses and action shots that she felt would make us shine. One of our most favorite photography sessions with her was in Calistoga when we did AcroYoga in the Courtyard of Castello di Amorosa. It was so much fun to just play and we are still amazed at how she was able to time the shots so that no one was lurking in the background - as there were a large number of tourists there that day. That was a day for the books and we are so grateful to have shared that with Krista! She is incredible. When you are able to look back at your photographs and actually FEEL what you felt in that moment - connection, strength, passion, love, stillness - you know you have a photographer for life. I hired Krista to photograph the food my company makes. She claimed to have never taken pictures of food but if she hadn't told me that, I never would have guessed because all of the pictures came out so beautifully. Since my first maternity photo shoot I've been using Krista Kendall Photography for almost every big event and milestone for my toddler. Wish I had her for my wedding! But seriously, she does excellent work. Krista connects with all her clients with her down to earth personality. Krista Kendall is such a joy to work with. She makes the whole experience fun and relaxing without having to stress about anything. She's professional and always captures amazing pictures of our our little family. Trying to get pictures of a 4 year old and 18 month old can be extremely challenging, but she is always so patient, and knows just how to get the kiddos to look and smile for the shot.
