The environment of this BBQ is really awesome. The pits and fires of the behind the scenes are seen as you order, and they cut your meat for you right there. The dining area of the restaurant also has tons of bits of history hanging up and funny signs too. Highly recommend this historic place with tons of tasty meats. We got just meats when we dined, and we left very satisfied, but the sides looked great too! The prime beef rib and turkey were my FAVORITES- so moist and delicious. More...

Delicious! Like many Texans, I am particular about my BBQ. I have my preferences (LA BBQ continues to be my absolute fave in the state thus far) and needed to try another Lockhart option. We tried the turkey, brisket (moist AND lean), and sausage. All were very good, and I am certain Kreuz Market is my fave Lockhart option to date. The meat options were flavorful and nothing was dry. The sides were equally tasty! There was plenty of parking and seating, and it didn't take long to make up our minds, get our food, and dig in. Excellent experience! More...
