Compared to other spots my coworkers and I ventured off to earlier in the week, Kregger's was a step more towards what I believed was LOCAL-local. And I got to sample some bits from other states, like Louisiana and, wait, Texas? Man, I don't leave Texas to eat Texas BBQ. Bruh, come on.But I DO declare, that was a mighty fine beer and burger I had! Bonus points, I even got to check in my beer at Untapped: A Peanut Butter Porter which tasted like a melted PBCup! I was super impressed by the burger, though. The chips were not my favorite, but my burger came with a thick fried green tomato slice which kind of acted as a second patty! It was perfectly breaded and seasoned, too. I got through half the burger and took the rest home. My leftovers didn't last very long, though. Just for comparison, I had leftovers from a much fancier restaurant in my hotel fridge and I ate the burger leftovers first. Yeah. That good. More...

Kregger's Tap and Table is located at the end of a small strip mall, so the parking is plentiful! First of many awesome things about this place. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress Emma was very friendly and very attentive. She made sure to check on us while we were waiting for our food to come out. We decided on the brisket loaded fries for an appetizer. The brisket was super yum. The ooooonly downside was the fries had a bit too much seasoning/too salty. The combination of the sweet bbq sauce and the fries, made it a little too much to handle. I ordered the classic burger and it did not disappoint. The burger was seasoned perfectly and didn't need any toppings to make it delicious. Kregger's is a winner, a terrific find that if we lived in the area we would continue to frequent often.  The menu has some really good and unique options, such as gator tacos or some pork belly options.  And their burgers are all 1/2 pound some come hungry.  Kregger's brings a unique flavor and style to the way they do things, even using peanut butter to spice up some of their burgers and sandwiches, yes and Jelly for you jelly lovers.  I'm mean serious nothing off the charts that makes you go this is to crazy, but just enough to push the envelope and explore the menu more.  Everything comes from local farms, they do have outdoor seating as well.  Their fries are amazing, but they had many side options (cheesy grits, fried green beans, spicy chips, jicama slaw, even cornbread with jalapeño and honey butter, just to name a few).  Lots of different sauces to and some signature dishes like Jambalaya, gumbo or shrimp & grits.  This is a great spot.  I got the wrangler burger and Theo bbq was amazing, was a little concerned the Texas toast the burger came on wouldn't hold, but it sure did.  Very tasteful burger cook medium rare it was full of flavor.  For sure one of the top 5 best burgers I've had and I've been around awhile.  Service was great, and the place is very clean.  Just a little to loud, that is my only complaint, but with a 10 month old who yells when he's hungry, it was perfect because no one could hear him, :). While waiting on our new camper to be ready we headed out for lunch. Yelp lead us to this wonderful place. I had the classic burger w/Mac and Cheese.  The burger was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For a simple sauce, Kregger's sauce was delicious. I would come back again just for the Mac n cheese, too. My husband had the pork belly tacos. He was very happy with his meal as well. Oh I forgot to mention, the jalapeño corn bread with honey butter, yum! Oh and  many many beers on tap!Certainly hope we are in the area again, bc we will be back. More...

I live in dinwiddie so we only went here once they dont have a lot of options for a vegan but they are very nice and willing to accommodate. I had a big salad with 5 or 6 different toppings and added the vegan impossible burger on the salad and it was a huge enough salad to make it a meal really really good would definitely go back just wish it was a little closer to home More...

Great pub/sports bar tucked into the corner of Kings Charter and Sliding Hill.  Have referred this great restaurant to friends and always receive kudos for the recommendation. If you're a fan of fish tacos, look no further!  Burgers are amazing and I have heard the chicken strips are delicious.  Keep in mind the flavors and house seasoning are a family tradition out of Louisiana!  The menu will satisfy any craving of even the most particular taste.  The lanai is comfortable and open year round... there's Happy Hour and events that support local charities.  Kreggers is the total package for a neighborhood bar! What a hip little place out in the country. Great for drinks , date nights etc. Fried Brussels with bacon jam , brisket fries and the brunch menu on weekends are a favorite. The menu is different and more eclectic than your average place and that's why I love it. Great extensive drink menu , strawberry mojito please. Krueger's music is always too loud, you are not a night club... but their fried chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce added is one of my dirty pleasures north if RVA. Another stop on our journey "south". We were staying at the nearby Ashland Comfort Inn and this spot seemed promising. Easy to get to location, in a well lit and accessible strip mall. As we entered, we were greeted by a hostess and were led to an available table which we didn't like because it was right by a loudspeaker so she offered us another seat, without an issue. We settled in and a server quickly came over, introduced herself and offered drinks. She was helpful with the beer selection and with her responses to our questions. We settled on tacos - The Honey chose the shrimp, I, the pulled pork. Both were delicious! Three loaded soft tacos, served with sides of rice and black beans. The shrimps were fresh and perfectly cooked.  The pulled pork flavorful and tender. I wanted to taste the Fried Brussels and she offered a side - rather than the "shareable" appetizer. It was a perfect size and I enjoyed the fried sprouts and the "bacon jam"! Kregger's was the perfect experience for us this evening. A well run, large sports bar, with lots of TVs. I wish there was a way to give half stars. I would give Kregger's Tap and Table 3.5 stars if possible. First, I loved the atmosphere. It was vibrant and loud and fun. The sound track playing in the back ground was phenomenal. I loved it! Our waitress came over shortly after we arrived and took our orders. She was friendly enough and the service was ok but I wouldn't classify either as great. The food was pretty good. We ordered the jerk chicken wings to start. I didn't catch much flavor to them but my wife said they were delicious! We ordered a cheeseburger with fruit and mac-n-cheese for the kids. The devoured it. My wife ordered a chicken Caesar salad. She said it was great. I ordered Baja chicken tacos with lime rice. It was pretty good. The chicken was a little dry but it was flavorful. I also ordered a sweet tea. My first glass was great. My second glass ok. The waitress refilled my second glass at about halfway and it was no longer good. It went from sweet to unsweet in half a glass. Every year we go to Bass Pro Shop and have a pic wit Santa. We have grown tired of the wait at their restaurant so we try a new one in the area every few years. We have now found a regular spot that we will visit for years. I called the night before for reservations, but they no longer reserve tables. I was assured that Thurs. night wouldn't be a problem. So, we decided that 9 of our 11 would eat and then meet for pics. We ordered smoked wings, gator, and fried Brussels sprouts for appetizers. The sprouts were a little tough but the rest was awesome. Came here several times already and have had a great time every single time.  First came across this location earlier this summer and decided to have one of my friends and I check this spot out.  Service was fantastically quick!  It is a sports bar so it was slightly louder but the atmosphere was pretty great.  We ordered the gator bits for appetizers, I had some of their cocktails, my friend ordered the Jamaican me crazy burger.  I had ordered the Kuban sandwich and the waitress brought me a Ruben...i guess because of the loudness in there I was easily understandable of the mistake.  They fixed it up right away and didn't charge me for the Ruben.  As most of you know, I have a huge sweet tooth so you can sure bet that I got a dessert.  I ended up ordering their chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream...and it was magnificent.We actually came back here the next day (Sunday) for their brunch.  I got the chicken and waffles and their mimosa flight (don't try drinking this alone haha).  The chicken and waffle were pretty big, I wish there more waffle but it did it's job and filled me up!  Their chicken and waffle can be slightly addicting....just a warning! haha. The last time I came here, I brought another friend from NOVA here and we had a great spot outside with my newborn.  We decided to try their Pig and Peppers appetizer and it was wonderful! It's jalapeno peppers, wrapped with bacon, and served with a raspberry sauce on the side.  ***Highly recommend trying if you come here!  I decided to get their Tejano craft burger with a side of their Gouda Mac and Cheese.  The mac and cheese was okay, but I wouldn't order it again.  Their Tejano burger was wonderful! They cooked it perfectly as I had requested it to be cooked rare.  The burger has a lot of flavor and it had the right about of juice to it.  I did convince my friend to split the dessert with me and we ended up splitting their bourbon maple bacon sundae.  Holy C$@&....that was definitely filling.  It was good, but I would recommend that only splitting between 4 people instead of 2. hahaha.  The ice cream on top just complete the flavor altogether.  I've ordered carry out here before and it was an easy process.  It take about 30-40 mins, which makes sense since it was a Saturday evening.  Overall, from all the experiences that I've had here it looks like I will be a returning customer.  Can't wait to take my husband here one day! lolThat's strange that my photos aren't attached on this. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I was thrilled to hear about their impossible burger. You can select any of the craft burgers on the menu and substitute the original meat patty with an impossible vegan patty for an additional $5. An additional $5 seems like a lot for a substitution in my opinion. I ordered the Cabo burger and the price for my meal totaled out to be around $18 dollars, which is quite expensive. Nevertheless, the burger was delicious! I've tried several impossible burgers from a variety of restaurants now and Krueger's definitely has a thicker, juicier patty than the rest. But the burger was already fairly soggy by the time It arrived at our table. With that in consideration and the price, I had to dock a star. I'd expect the best quality burger if I'm paying $18. If you're interested in trying the impossible burger, I would recommend this place solely because the patty itself is good. Maybe select a different craft burger than I did to avoid sogginess? 4.49 stars. Outstanding food and and a veryLarge selection of all kinds of beer, from local and afar. The TBM sandwich was outstanding, probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The beer was wonderful. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star was the service. Although our server was super nice and professional, it was rather disjointed and not very fast. Our first food order took a while and then we were told they were out of it. The beer served was not the one I ordered, for which they apologized. Definitely can see this as a hip place to hangout in the evening. Ordered the loaded potato chips which came on a huge platter full of toppings. My family devoured that before I could take a picture. The ambiance was a touch on the loud side but in its defense, it is a bar with high top tables and lots of beer on tap. Loved the selection of beer too. The food and beer was pretty good!  We had steak street tacos and gumbo. The steak was not overdone and the tacos overall were a little spicy. I felt they had the right amount of spice to it.  The gumbo was good, it wasn't the best we've ever had but it was good. The street tacos I would definitely have again. I recommend that over the gumbo. Now for the beer - we had the Legend Brown Ale & the Trapezium Caramel Brown Ale.  They had about 40 beers on tap and I recommend downloading the Tap Hunter app. You can view the list from your phone or you can walk up to the bar and look at the list there. I absolutely loved the Trapezium.  You can really taste the caramel in it.  The Legend was good too, I just loved the taste of caramel on a nice day. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Great place! Friendly environment. Plenty of Tvs inside and out. NFL Sunday ticket. Food is great and reasonably priced and the beer is cold. Perfect way to spend a Sunday. We needed to consume something other than the sweets and snacks (floats, gelato, fries) we had all day at kings dominion. Good thing Kregger's was open late cause we were deprived of a sit down meal .  The restaurant has a big space that even opens into the outdoor patio. Both of my friends got burgers while I opted for tacos. The trufflin burger was topped with sautéed mushrooms with horseradish aioli which I thought was a pretty tasty burger. The fries sucked my face dry. They were salty. What was interesting was the impossible vegan burger. It tasted solid like a meat burger but it was a on the dry side. It was neat that the menu offered vegetarian and vegan options. I originally ordered the street Baja tacos w/ grilled fish but it came out with shrimp instead. I'm not complaining cause I love shrimp but I didn't know if I received someone else's order or create any confusion. After informing them of my incorrect order I just kept the shrimp tacos and when we received our bill, they comped the tacos! The tacos were good but the sides were not. The rice was dry and the side of beans tasted like it was straight out of the can and it really needed some salt. Since the first time me and husband visited this place for lunch 2 years ago, we've moved closer and go here all the time. This place is my go-to if we are eating out for lunch or dinner nearby the house. We came over the summer at all times of day and always had a new server and they all were good. Some not excellent, but fairly quick and the kitchen is quick at getting food out also. With recent rain downpours all summer, we inevitably got caught eating dinner on the covered patio during a night a ton of rain came and the management, and even some kids from the kitchen were outside immediately getting the side walls down so that the sideways rain didn't soak everyone. The staff got soaked, but they did an amazing job. All around, good crowd, both of patrons and staff. Can't forget the food and beer. Wide selection of beers and always rotating some cool ones in, and we've tried tons of items off their menus and love them all. This was excellent! We went looking for a dinner spot off of95 Andreas good reviews so went to try it and boy was it good. The chicken tenders were the best I've had with a delicious honey mustard sauce. The brussel sprouts with bacon jam, the side salad, the fish tacos- everything was so good.
