Q&As

I love working with and helping people! There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the look in the clients eye when they have made big progress! It is so rewarding!

I opened my own business because I wanted to help more people! Working for others I had to do a lot of paperwork and other duties, that I couldn't help that many people in a day.

I want to give good care to my clients and see them when they needed it. My last job I didn't feel I was giving as good care as I wanted to because I could only see them once every 6-8 weeks. That is not good care!

Our practice offers a variety of ways to meet your needs, and receive the help you are seeking. My name is Cassie Icenogle-Konnoly, and I have been serving others in the mental health field for over 20+ years. I absolutely love the work that I do, and the clients I work with!

My experience provides me with the opportunity to help people with a wide variety of symptoms and stressors.

If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bi-polar Disorder, Eating Disorders, Stressful Life Events, and/ or family problems, then I am the therapist for you!

The office atmosphere is very soothing, and quickly calms any nerves or anxiety you may be experiencing.

Another bonus is that our office has flexible hours. You can schedule therapy sessions during the evening, or by Telehealth via Video/ telephone sessions. We strive to be as available as possible to meet your needs.

Yes we provide Telehealth ( video sessions) to clients that live too far away to come into the office. We generally like to meet a new client face to face at least one time, it helps to build rapport quicker and I think most people tend to get more out of therapy when they come into the office.

We leave room between each client to sanitize inbetween appointments. We have masks and sanitizer to use.

We have enough space for social distancing.

Services

Is anxiety taking over your life? Does it feel like you can’t control it no matter how hard you try? Have you already tried therapy but found it ineffective?

If this sounds like you, I’m confident I can help. My practice offers the most effective forms of treatment, to get the relief from anxiety that you deserve.

When it comes to treating anxiety disorders, research shows that therapy is usually the most effective option. That’s because anxiety therapy – as opposed to anxiety medication – treats more than just symptoms to the problem.

Often, these are the symptoms of anxiety:

Nervousness, restlessness or being tense
Feelings of danger, panic or dread
Rapid breathing or hyperventilation
Increased or heavy sweating
Trembling or muscle twitching
Weakness or lethargy
Difficulty focusing or thinking clearly about anything other than the thing you’re worried about
Insomnia
Obsessions about certain ideas, a sign of obsessive-compulsive disorder

Anxiety surrounding a particular life event or experience that has occurred in the past, a sign of post-traumatic stress disorder

Therapy can help to uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears, learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills.
