Great close knit community, with a family oriented type programs. Krav Maga Cleveland focuses on building one's own skill sets in self-defense and ground work, while simultaneously bringing people together. Krav Maga Cleveland's instructors are some of the highest I'd recommend who are knowledgeable and have varying experiences in many disciplines; which makes Krav Maga Cleveland great for those seeking adaptive challenges that are not just a straight belt system program. It's students additionally bring in their own experiences, which slowly get molded and shared into the programs put out by Krav Maga Cleveland. Though I am unable to be there currently, I hope to return at some point, and would recommend it to anyone seeking a different viewpoint on self-defense and a more nontraditional learning curve that focuses on the individual, then group, then Krav Maga Cleveland. 10 years of training in another system of Krav Maga as well as other arts,as well as working in high levels of security with jcc's at risk synagogues and American Jewish communities councils. I will give my seal of approval to this school, They are there to train you to walk in peace and do everything they can to help you grow. Instructors are friendly and personable which if you have trained in the past you know can be hard to find. Amit is a fantastic host and shows you the best parts of not only krav but self defense. In one intro I saw some wrestling/judo concepts, as well as krav Maga which is the flaw of most krav schools which limit to standing and really dose not reflect this necessity. practice If you train jujitsu which they have but this is a benefit to your training as you are getting a more well rounded standing game and learning to strike in the clinch I walked out of there more confidant that this is where I wanna be and they allow cross training so you can go to your everyday jujtisu studio and come in and work what you know. That's truly a gift as a fighter to be able to round your skills. 10 out of 10 stars I truly look forward to being part of this system and growing as a more well rounded practitioner. More...
