This review is for their new location in the Pacific Commons shopping center in Fremont, Ca.If you've never been here, you really owe it to yourself to try this Korean Fusion restaurant. My favorite items are the Korean BBQ beef Taco and the Miso Braised Pork Tacos. Equally enjoyable are the Korean Spicy Wings and the Umami Fries.Today was part of their soft open, I believe. I ordered the original Koja "Burger", which is their short rib beef in between two rice patty buns. Delicious! I also ordered their Umami Fries, which were very good as well. More...

This place is delicious. Service is fast, food is great! Some of the food is a little spicy for someone who may not like spice but you can ask them to skip the sauce, but you'll be missing out on all the greatness. The tacos are small (like Mexican street tacos) and I personally don't think they are 100% worth the $3 and some change, but since they are a bit more gourmet, I'll take it. Nice dine in area and some great vegetarian options. I always come when I'm in Alameda and I will always return! More...

If you treat this place for what it is: one level up from fast food, then it's a great guilty pleasure. The food is flavorful and the menu is simple and complete. Only limitation is that their beverage menu is very very limited. I recommend the AHI salad, the Unami fries and the KoJa! More...

Really innovative food, served quickly and fairly priced. I had the pork koja which is like a pulled pork sandwich and salad together but instead of being in bread, was between two coconut rice things that you could handle like bread, except it was a little sticky. I also had the fries with meat and stuff which was good. Overall the items I ate had more sweet than spice, and not too much kimchee visible. Definitely will be back. More...

Not my usual type of food, but KoJa does a great job with the items on their menu. The service is fast, and its a popular place around lunchtime. It’d be great if they used organic, or higher quality ingredients (lost a star because of this) in their dishes, but aside from that the options are pretty healthy and the food tastes fresh. It’s a good alternative to the usual Italian, Mexican and Mediterranean options. More...

Though it's a chain, it still delivers top quality. The food is similar to what you would find in food trucks. It's fusion Asian food with dishes like beef short ribs burger (rice paddies as the bun and short ribs as the meat). It's also really tasty and filling. I would recommend the Original Koja burger, the Beef bowl, and the Kamakazi fries. More...
