We had Kodiak Construction install a new metal roof on our home in 2018. It started out to be a disaster when the one guy sub-contractor arrived and didn’t know what he was doing so when the rain came we had damage inside our home. Greg Olsen the owner came to our home and made all the repairs himself even working late evenings. Al in all the entire roof turned out beautiful. This year I contacted Greg again to install a new metal roof on our garage. Greg has changed how the crews are managed by doing that himself. A sub-contractor arrived and I was very much impressed on their professional attitude and they did a fantastic job! So give Kodiak a chance and you will be happy with their results. More...

My husband and I are ecstatic over our new windows! Hats off to Stephan, Greg and Trevor for braving the heat, sun and 11 big old and falling apart 1950's era windows that should have been replaced at least 20 years ago! They just recently finished installing a standing seam metal roof on my home, and I have to say the experience was better than I expected when I started looking into this project. Their initial sales pitch caused me to raise my eyebrows, but they were the only company of the 3 I had provide estimates that actually took the time to walk the roof and explain the project start to finish including all problems we were likely to experience. The other two really felt like they were rushing to get to their next appointments. Once I signed the paperwork, they were in contact every step of the way, and the entire project went down without any major problems. It took a little longer than initially told, but not not by much. Everyone was friendly and very accomodating, up to and including the president of the company, who made multiple trips to my home during the installation to check in progress. They completed the job, and cleaned up so well you'd have no idea anyone had been there for a week. I will absolutely be calling them for any future projects, it's been a great experience all around! Kodiak did an outstanding job at my home in Grand Rapids. I have a 1908 home that needed construction outside of your average "cookie cutter" job and no standard off the shelve units would work. His team installed a custom acrylic Bath Planet walk in shower system that is absolutely perfect and met all my expectations and then some. I have 4 boys who use this shower daily and therefore I know I needed something that is easy to clean and highly durable. I guess by my comments... I would recommend Kodiak ;) More...

Kodiak Construction has wonderful installers! They came on time and are polite and get the job done in a timely fashion. This is the 2nd Bath Planet system I have purchased from them. My first was a deep soaking tub which we enjoyed tremendously!!!! This time we went for a walk in shower with a rain shower head, it's beautiful to look at when we walk in the bathroom. After 3 home improvement projects completed by Kodiak Construction, I can honestly say I will never use any other company to do work in my home. Three years ago I was looking for a company to install a new roof. I happened upon Kodiak in a Google search for metal roofs. Dan came to the house and after a couple hours of talking, we had picked out our new roof, and prepared for tear down and installation. The roofers who came out were fabulous. Job was completed in 4 days and they did an amazing job. Fast forward 1 year and I decide I want to renovate our bathroom. Before I could even call Kodiak, our friend Dan stops by to check on the roof, and make sure we were still happy with it. I mention the bathroom, and after some brainstorming and measurements, I was heading for a new walk in shower. If you look closely at the pictures you can see the previous pink bathroom and aged tub/shower. In two days the old tub was gone, all new plumbing was installed, and a gorgeous walk in shower was completed. Fast forward to this year. It was time to replace the old, old carpet from the living room and small hallway and replace it with a new plank flooring. So I call my friend Dan, who was not available to come out, but said he would send someone out to talk to me. So our new friend Greg came out to talk floors. As you can see from the pictures, the old carpet was bad. The new floor is beautiful. The guys who did the work were even kind enough to move the furniture for us. And after they finished the flooring, they repaired the roof where a shingle had fallen off during the winter, and installed a new corner piece in the shower. I am so glad I came across Kodiak 3 years ago when it came time for a new roof. They stand by their products, and they stand by their work. I have heard horror stories of renovation projects gone bad. I am so glad I called Kodiak. I’m not sure what is next on the renovation list, but I know it will be Kodiak Construction that I will call to do the job. More...

Very good coordination between the salesperson I met and the job scheduler for the attic blow in insulation project. The crew showed up on time, protected the passageway to the Attic entrance, and did an excellent job in completing the project at the agreed-upon price. Highly recommend!

currently we have a crew hired by Kodiak to replace our roof with shake shingles..the crew is very hard working..so far roof is looking great. ..the roofers are working extremely hard and doing a great job...the roof is starting to look spectacular...the value for the money..we are told this is top of the line roofing...time will tell..for the money i thought it was a little pricey..but i guess it's the going price for a roof with the pitch and valleys that we have on our roof...Victorian style home.....not a cheap roof..put together with top of line quality material...and the roofers so far are doing an amazing job......doing a really good job... We have used Kodiak construction on several projects in our home over the last 9 years that include a brand new kitchen install, hardwood floors throughout our first floor, new siding, new stone façade and installation of a new metal roof. We have chosen to work with Kodiak each and every time due to their diligence in understanding what we are after, their consultation on the best products to use that may cost more but have the long term durability , product quality and they stand behind their results. They have an extensive list of qualified specialists that depending on the job and their strengths they will pair up and deploy. We have found them to hold their installers accountable and in fact have come visited the site to ensure they are on time, within quality standards and within budget. They listen to feedback and have adjusted accordingly. They are the real deal and the full package. We had tried other companies or resources but have found others to not be the comprehensive professionals we expected and they did not hold themselves accountable to deliver a quality outcome. The windows look and function great! In the afternoon the sun is beating on the front of our house. Now we can enjoy our living room without the added heat. Installation was fast and non eventful.
