I had the pleasure of working with Kristin to design the floral arrangement of my dream for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was able to take into account my every request and found ways to ensure we didn't go over budget. There were power outages the day of my wedding and although we later found our Kristin and her family were impacted - you would have never know. Phenomenal! I am still swooning over my wedding day flowers. Kristin is a talented florist who has the ability to understand her customer's vision and execute it beyond expectation. I truly felt that Kristin created flowers arrangements uniquely crafted to my style and taste. Kristin is professional, timely and a pleasure to work with. I gave her a budget and I can't believe everything that we received in return. One way that we were able to get more out of our budget is by re-purposing the ceremony garland as the sweet heart table decoration. The floral garland was a highlight piece in the ceremony and I was thrilled we were able to use it again. We completely trusted in Kristin's floral expertise for our destination wedding in San Diego. I just showed up the day of the wedding and Kristin had everything beautifully done! It was an absolute pleasure working with KO Floral and we couldn't have been happier. Kristin does amazing work!! She prepared all of the floral designs for our wedding, including a giant wreath for our ceremony. Everything she did - wreath, bouquets, centerpieces (and more!) - were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. This review is WAY overdue for Kristin. Kristin created my floral arrangements for my wedding in October 2015 in Temecula, CA and they were absolutely beautiful. I had absolutely no idea what flowers I wanted, or where I needed them, or how many I needed. Kristin took all of my ideas (even after changing them over & over & over) and created something more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. She created my bouquets, bouttonieres, arch piece, aisle decor, and center pieces. She even supplied the vases for everything. I remember looking around at my ceremony & reception and being completely in awe. You will not find someone more passionate, kind, and affordable when it comes to your wedding flowers. Kristin did an amazing job for our wedding florals! She was so attentive, organized, and was able to keep up with my many e-mails, questions, and changes throughout the entire process. More importantly, she was able to truly understand and deliver my vision for our wedding flowers when even I did not have a clear way to describe it! Kristin is an amazing and talented being. I knew immediately that I would work with Kristin for our wedding floral because of her overall charisma, touch, presence, and work ethic in life. Kristin was very attentive and a great listener when we started the vision of our wedding. Our vision was unique because we had a pool party wedding at the Lafayette Hotel and Swim Club. We were determined to have our floral be our main decor because of my complete trust in Kristin's quality of work and design. We could not have been happier with our experience with KO Floral at our wedding. Â Some examples of the KO Floral designs included a huge monogram floral letter D that was floating in the pool (this did not look like an easy project) and our ceremony floral around the arch looked majestic. I think she could patent her designs because she is that good! We truly believe the floral decorations and floral design from Kristin is the best investment. Kristin is very down to earth and great to do business with. We genuinely feel so happy that Kristin was such a big part of our wedding day. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with brides (and grooms!) on coming up with floral designs that compliment and complete the overall "look" of a wedding vision! I love all the details from ordering the flowers, to picking them up, prepping them and of course, delivering them! One of my favorite traditions is always completing the Bridal bouquet last, so its perfect for the Bride! I also LOVE delivering the flowers and seeing the Bridal party reactions :)
What inspired you to start your own business?
I took a few floral design classes and was asked by a former roommate to do her wedding flowers...it literally snowballed from there! My brother-in-law created my first website for me as a Christmas gift and word-of-mouth referrals took it from there! I feel very lucky!
Why should our clients choose you?
I work with you one-on-one from start to finish! I love the connections I make with brides through the floral planning process and I am thrilled to be a happy part of the planning timeline! I have done well over 100 weddings, almost all at different locations and I enjoy working with event planners, DJ's, etc during planning and set-up :) The wedding industry is a passionate and great group of folks! I listen, and truly take to heart my job! I have worked as a wedding planner and have planned my own wedding so not only am I great resource for flowers, but I can help with tips for planning a fabulous event!
