Insubordination? I received the employee of the quarter award from KO business solutions in 07/2022, I was offered a lead position in 9/2022 which I declined because the pay was inadequate for a lead position here but they still wanted me to train people and take on the lead's responsibilities. When I refused to train new staff because I was not being compensated for it, that's when things started going south. So far I have trained at least 6 KO employees all without the job title or the compensation. I've also trained both supervisors they chose when I declined their offer. I received a termination email stating I was let go due to job performance, but yes there was an issue with the break times only because it changed so often after I declined the position. They developed a new scheduling system to where I would be jumping between different campaigns at different times throughout a day at different times every day. This was because I was trained on all the campaigns. It was very difficult to get used to because of the time it took to log out and log in to different programs between campaigns. It was very overwhelming and they knew this. In their teams chat I let them know of all the issues I was having bouncing between systems. This was if the systems were working properly to begin with. Sometimes we wouldn't be able to clock in or out and would have to send our times to the attendance dept. by email. I believe they set me up for failure. This was an orchestrated plot to gather anything they could to get rid of me. When i declined their offer and told them it was too much work for one person and not enough pay, they ended up promoting 2 people, one for each campaign. They wanted to get away with me doing 2 jobs for half the pay. They used the excuse, I was fired because I was late to work on 10/5/2022, this was the 1st and only day I have ever been late in a year with this company. They realized that they no longer had someone that they could take advantage of so they let me go. I was fired on 12/9/22, right before the Christmas holidays. They shouldn't get a star, Worst company in history to work for, they played me like a fiddle. They requested I take on management duties without the pay. Then was let go when I requested to be compensated for my work. When i refused to do extra work without pay it was called insubordination. If you're looking for descent work skip these lames More...
