Insanely noisy, difficult to talk even at close range with the nonstop shouts from speakers and hodge podge audience running along with the drag show outside and inside difficult to outdo the JukeBox. I think our late Friday night timing is to blame since others have had good things to say. The staff was well trained and quick to connect us to various parts of the new and introduce the burger of the month. But was a tragic twist expecting a solid draft selection based on the website and other reviews learning they only do cans and bottles. Nice to see some quality cocktails to mix it up. Our food was trotted out quick, the buffalo mozzarella cheese blocks were incredible, amazing flavor bursting rich goo with delicate and perfectly done crust to match. I've never had such a cheese, few other cheese anythings compare served with jam for that extra treat. Alligator bites went down well too. But even the entire meal along after the appetizers was nothing compared with the Tuna app; it had even my Japanese versed friend amazed at the fresh and high quality seafood. It is rare to get such top tier fish this side of the middle of no where! Burgers were fine. Fish and chips good too, it's an accessible and American forward menu. I can see this lovely patio being the late lunch fix for me rather than the bloody ears college bar vibes it was for us. Cheese bricks! I'm a sucker for some fried cheese and these were great. Each "brick" is a 1/4 lb some bring some help or you may go into a cheese comma. I also tried the fried pork loin sandwich and it was excellent. Lots of crispy pork. They had some great food and drink specials the night I went. Our group sat on the patio. It had excellent views of the old courthouse across the street. Lastly our service was fantastic. We had a decent sized group and everything came out in a timely manner. Digbys is an amazing catalyst for just having a good ole time. Chef Cody Hall and his staff are artists in the kitchen serving well rounded meals for the family to enjoy. Digbys has amazing bartenders and servers who love to be kept busy and show the upmost hospitality. Also Digbys is a great medium for MUSIC! We had the cheese brick, tomato bisque and the Italian salad. All were excellent! The cheese brick's raisin rum sauce was so delicious, we also got marinara but only because my husband was put off by the sound of raisin rum sauce. The salad was huge and very filling! The tomato bisque was chunky and delicious! Our waitress was excellent, accurate, kind and efficient. Love digbys. Although I prefer the patio seating, the past few times I've been I sat inside. They have some amazing cheese sticks, oversized and served with a really good dipping sauce. Kevin made our drinks this last visit, and he did an excellent job keeping up with workflow and conversation. Karie was working with him and she did great as well. Ate here in a busy Sunday Evening. Was able to chose any available seat. Chose one inside as it was still a little to cold outside for me to sit in patio dining. Patio area is very nice. Waited on quickly. Our party had the Pretzels rolls as an appetizer, best ones I have ever had. Soft, hot and salty served with beer cheese. Highly recommend. The steak sandwich was a little dry and could have used some au jus . But was still served on some soft delicious bread. The fries . Burger and salads were all excellent. Only negative was that many things on the menus were not available that we wished to order as they were sold out. The waiter kept our glasses filled and was very attentive . I love this place. I was on vacation I came the first night and excellent then the next night I went to a garbage place called Lafayette Brewery. I waited at brewery for more than 40 mins and they didn't even start my food. So I came here again for my previous experience and I loved it. I recommend this place if you like good food. I got an extra sweet Tom Collins cocktail and the alligator po boy with fries. The food was good but I wish the sandwich was thicker then it was. They gave you a lot of fries to offset it. The drink was perfectly made. The atmosphere of the place is meh. They had a medicre musician playing. The interior isn't all that spacious and there's not much to look at. The bar isnt themed. Pricing is okay. The waitress was attentive and checked in on us every once and a while. They have one pool table and a large outdoor seating area - but it's so cold nobody would dare sit out there. This bar was the most unprofessional place I have ever been too. The bartender Kevin Johnson was the rudest person I have ever met. He refused to serve me even after presenting multiple identifications. One was a military ID that he didn't even look at and then ruined my state ID. Then proceeded to get a "second opinion" from the other customers who were there. I highly do not recommend this establishment. I am from out of state and was supposed to fly home the next day. I've been here twice. The second time I came here it took over an hour to order our food and the restaurant wasn't even busy. After ordering drinks I had a mimosa spilled down my back and my friend had his beer spilled on him. Neither were taken off our tabs. My burger had so much mustard I had to remove lettuce and wipe the excess mustard off with napkins. I was charged for jalapeños that were listed as free on the menu.
