A great website tends to be well organized/structured, easy to understand message so that the end user gets it promptly. Accessibility and being user friendly is important as well (for both desktop and mobile), which will all your visitors to easily navigate the contents of your website.

Main questions would be, expected turnaround/urgency, if they already have content, any preference in how they'd like it built, reference websites and budget.
