Top notch food! If there is any cons about it I would have to say the location or lack of advertisement. I drove past it for a year before trying it. My girlfriend and I have gone 3 times already since that one day night three months back. I am updating my review to 5 starts, because after my first visit I returned over a handful of times. I love that they add seasonal items on the menu and the cookie dessert (You must try it! ). The food is always fresh. Also, I appreciate that the waitress during lunch time acknowledges me and my co-worker every time we come in. On a date night we used Yelp to find a new place to try. The outside is nothing to look at and honestly if not for yelp I don't think we ever would have stopped, but we were not disappointed. The inside ambiance was pretty cool. They have artwork and cool mason jar lights and an artsy flair. It's a BYOB but they do sell bottles of wine. We got the crab nachos as an appetizer which were really yummy. I got the crab cake sandwich and it was really good. My fiance got the actual crab cake meal. He also liked it and it came with quinoa that he said had like a taco taste to it. I also got the garlic parmesan fries, which the waiter forgot I ordered so they gave them to me but took it off my bill which I thought was really nice. They were really good too. The crab cake was all crab not fillers like most places. The Sriracha aioli sauce was so good I could have drank it. The crab cake sandwich also came with a salad on your plate and the dressing that was on it was delicious. The only reason they lost a star is I got really sick about an hour after we left, it might not have had anything to do with the food but not sure. It might have just been a bug. Kitchen 519 was outstanding!! The burger wasn't the most seasoned burger I've had nor the pulled pork, however all the ingredients were very fresh. The deserts looked really good, however, like most times I'm too full to order desert. Kitchen 519 only offers wine by the bottle. I am beginning to really love the smaller to medium size café atmosphere. This café had several vegan and vegetarian options. If you are a wine drinker they have wine available for purchase order a drink in A glass while you're having your meal. If you're looking for a good southern comfort type of meal they featured both chicken and waffles and buffalo chicken and waffles. Currently sitting at kitchen 519 and this is a great spot! The atmosphere is nice and the food was great. We came here for my moms bday and our server Dominic was great! He even gave us nachos on the house. To start we had the fried green tomatoes and grilled Cesar salad for the appetizers. It was really good! I could eat the fried tomatoes all by myself if I wasn't with a party. For my entree My sister-In law and I both had the pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries, my brother and mom had the inside out burger and my son and sister had the chicken fingers. Came here for dinner on recommendation from a friend who is vegetarian. Everything was amazing! Awesome, interesting, menu. I had a HARD time deciding. Scratch kitchen. Fresh baked bread was delish (sour dough w/sesame seeds). I ordered the crabcake sandwich. Crab cake was outstanding, the roll was unremarkable. House dressing on side salad was very tasty.
