This is an amazing addition to King of Prussia Mall and 100% the best BBQ around. The food is delicious and the staff is helpful and incredibly nice. 10/10 I would recommend.

Was excited to try a new BBQ place near my house. I tried a sampler plate with Brisket, Pork Ribs and Sausage. I added some Pork Belly as well. I have had some great BBQ in Texas and even downtown Philly has great BBQ at Fette Sau. Sadly, Morgan's Backyard is not even close to that. What I got was dried out, overdone and not really flavorful. The meal was average or below average and the Pork Belly was burnt and overdone. I have been to this restaurant twice now. First time was during their opening weekend. Service was slow but we were told they had trouble hiring staff, so we understood. The food was good and we left satisfied. This second time we ordered the food for delivery through a third party service. When we received the food, the brisket was extremely overcooked. It was tough and dry and really hard to eat. The truffle Mac and cheese had barely a hint of truffle flavor and may as well have been the basic Mac and cheese. The fries were okay but lacked a bit of flavor. Everything else was good, hence the rating. I understand things are hard right now with Covid and hiring staff, but it was hard to believe just how overdone and bad the brisket was, which is the main part of the meal. Had high hopes, but was utterly disappointed. Walked in to no one at the host booth, waited a few minutes to be acknowledged, when some finally came over, I started to share that we had a reservation and the man literally said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah", grabbed menus, led us to a table, and walked away without a word. Our server came over and filled preset plastic tumblers with water and walked away without finding out if we wanted anything else to drink. Waited almost 10 minutes for him to come back, when we placed our food and drink order. We were a party of 5 - ordered the candy bacon appetizer, and for dinner ribs, the Morgan burger, cheeseburger macaroni, pulled port tacos, and smoked chicken. Candied bacon was delicious, but showed up before we got our beverages. When our entrees arrived, they were luke warm at best. For meat they claim has been smoked for hours, there was absolutely no hint of a smokey flavor in any of the meats. Infact, all the food was very bland. The homemade BBQ sauce on the table was ok. When we needed more beverages, we had to hunt our server down. He never checked on us after the food was delivered. When we were done eating and asked for the check, nothing was cleared off the table. We paid by credit card and struggled to find space on the table to add a tip and sign the slip. Really solid BBQ place. We Got the holy trinity, Mexican corn, truffle Mac and fried chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was very flavorful and would order again. Trash....this place does not deserve to be in the bbq business the food is horrible and is a disrespect to real bbq. If you want bbq go to anywhere but here eat a McRib before you eat here. Stay away.

Celebrated a friends 60th birthday here on Sunday night. The food was absolutely fantastic and our server Eddie did a really great job. While the restaurant had just opened and not every single detail was in place that was OK. Because the food is so tasty and flavorful and just really good. Love the environment. I want to give this NO STARS! I ordered delivery food was DISGUSTING dry thick cold pieces of brisket, ribs were subpar, potato salad had peppers and onions in it and big chunks of potatoes GROSS collard greens also subpar the chili was cold small and disgusting literally the only thing that was okay was the cord bread and that was a little piece with peppers and corn in it! After my gf had said she didn't care where we went to dinner she had finally decided on the new BBQ place at king of Prussia mall. After walking in what is a strange but cool looking set of doors you are welcomed into a great ambiance. The feel of being at an outdoor BBQ while also at a fine dining establishment. The vibes were immaculate. We started with the Brisket Nachos and they lived up to the hype. The perfect ratio of chips. Not a single chip was left without love. Then moving onto the entrees I had the Fried Chicken Platter which was accompanied by corn bread that was incredible, collard greens that were phenomenal, and Mac n cheese that was a solid 3/5 on a good day. Talk about shitty customer service. If you have a big party- apparently over 5 they can't accommodate you. We had a party of 10 and could have been broken up into 2 families (2 tables of 5) and the GM Jason Gates would not accommodate us. There were parties of 4 behind us and he accommodated them. Basically we got kicked out. Note- we waited 20 mins in the rain for it to open and we were the first in line AND they opened 5-10 minutes late.Should be 0 stars for customer service. More...

To start out with, a 10 person party was in front of us which was 2 families and the kids. They were turned away and was informed the restaurant couldn't accommodate a party of 10. ...they were the first ones in the door as they opened. They asked if they could split into a party of 6 and a party of 4. Nope and they were told to leave. I was shocked. They were limited staff but you don't turn away paying customers. Our food was good, I had the fatty brisket, Mexican street corn and corn bread, and my wife had turkey and potato salad. For the price, not much food, but flavor was on point. As some previous reviews mentioned, there were a family of ten who got turned away even though they were first in line. Not sure about the reason, so no comment on that. But they do open a few minutes late and just watched people standing outside in the chilly rain. You would expect them to let people inside first especially there was a waiting area.Anyway, we do have reservation but they didn't really asked for it. We were seated right away and after that the experience was pretty good. We had corn bread, Mexican corn, mushroom Mac and cheese, chicken with waffle and ginormous rib. My boyfriend and I ate here last night and we can truly say this is the best bbq place we have been to! For apps we had the cornbread, and the frito chili pie. The cornbread was outstanding we loved the diced bell peppers in it, it gave so much flavor. The frito chili pie was excellent. For entrees we had the holy trinity which was brisket, pork ribs, and house smoked sausage, and everything was so tender. We also had the fried chicken sandwich, the candied bacon was so flavorful and the chicken was so tender. We also had the cheeseburger mac, so cheesey and delicious. As a side we had the mexican street corn which we recommend! Man o man did we wish for this to be the leading light of BBQ in Montgomery County/KOP. Chester County has Southside BBQ. Philly has Mikes BBQ . Unfortunately, gotta say this was a disappointment from our expectations.We saw the photos of the 'cue from Michael Klein Philly Insider. The supposed authenticity of a place in Brooklyn that even burned down. The smoke smell when you walk in the doors. The extensive and impressive menu. Let's talk about the food. The wings? So small they should be embarrassed. Dry as sand as well. Lean brisket dry but ok. It's lean. A pound of Ribs isn't even a half rack at most places. That's an infraction. My lady liked em - I thought they were disappointing. Some of the ribs we got were take out sucker sized. In other words, a diner would send em back, not a takeout ordered that lives 45 minutes away. Sides are a rip off for the price - Cole slaw and beans were also weak. The old school Mac was stellar. Loved it. Service was decent for newly opened spot. Here's the math: The price paid (high) the quality (ok) and quantity (terrible compared to Mikes/Southside) which equals a 3PS I think the first review here was someone who works there. Tried Morgan's Brooklyn Barbeque for dinner on its first day open. We knew from the moment we arrived this was going to be good. My husband went to college in the south and knows good barbecue. As you enter you see a long open sink area to wash your hands from your delicious meal. Second they were stocked with wood, another good sign. Next it smelled delicious! We tried both the lean and fatty brisket as well as the pulled pork and street corn. My 9 year old had the frito pie for dinner and my other son had corn bread and fries because that is how he rolls! My husband and I started by sharing the Cobb salad. You could tell the dressing was homemade and it was delicious. The brisket and pork were delicious. We also enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. The street corn could use some lime in our opinion but it was a fine side. They also have a very nice selection of craft beers and whiskeys to go with the homey food. We were too full for dessert. It’s all about the barbecue, which is the best in Brooklyn. We had brisket and pork belly, and smoked bacon mac and cheese. Worth the 100 miles we drove from upstate NY. But why I really love Morgan’s is what happened when I forgot my credit card on the counter. Patricia called to tell me but I was already through the Holland Tunnel.
