Food was not very good. Ordered some nigiri, 2 rolls, and gyoza. Rolls were average and Nigiri was bleh. Actually sent some back because it didn't taste right. Got home after dinner and threw everything up, so something was definitely wrong with the quality of the fish. My girlfriend wrote a review on the way home from the restaurant, and they just direct messaged her today Aug 8th, specifically a person named "Sanghee" (assuming that's an owner or manager) harassing her about the review, which is why I'm writing this second review. Terrible customer service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Save yourself the heartache and even more importantly the STOMACHACHE!! More...

We'll they used to be the best Sushi anywhere, but now just average. Â We placed an order to go and the person answering the phone couldn't seem to get our order straight. Â When you get there, they have an old CDC sign on the door that says you cannot enter without a mask... even if vaccinated. Â So you have to knock on the door and wait outside in the heat to pick up your order. Â Â And then not the greatest Sushi... that'll be our last visit. More...

Y'all. We are already planning another trip to Joshua tree, and I promise you we will come back to the sushi spot. We were running a little late from our evening hike, and arrived at 8:50 PM. They close at 9:30, and have a sign outside that says that their last call is at 9. They graciously sat us, and promptly took our order, served us, and cleaned things up. Even though they were closing, the service was still wonderful and the entire experience was great.Now for the food... my husband got a couple of pieces of nigiri, two salmon skin hand rolls, and a baked salmon roll. I got the night fever roll. Everything was delicious, but I have to say his baked salmon roll was probably the best dish of the night.We left so satisfied, and grateful that we were able to enjoy the meal there. More...

Once again with a rant for this place. Actually starting to become one sloppy excuse for a restaurant. First off my order had two rolls and a order of jalapeño bombs. The jalapeño bombs were crossed off my ticket but I was still charged. I also asked for extra eel sauce and my rolls came with NONE. When I call to complain the lady starts yelling at me that she checked it and there was extra eel sauce. So tired of the consistent disappointment in what used to be my favorite restaurant before the pandemic. Highly recommend against going here until they figure it out. More...

Omg this place is incredible! I am a connoisseur of sushi rolls and this place ranks as a 5 star for me. There are so many rolls to chose from and the two I selected were huge. The fish was plentiful and both were creatively assembled. Beautiful presentation accompanied by great service.I live just a couple miles from the ocean in California so we have many sushi options there. I heard good things about Kimi Grill , but it was t my experience . Our waitress was very new and could not answer any questions, so we ended up getting 2 dishes. One dish was chicken teriyaki over rice and the other dish was Tofu and vegetables  with  vegetable tempura. Food was better than average but really expensive . Two dishes for lunch and no drinks or desert, bill was $38 before tip.Sorry but these are  NYC prices in Yucca Valley. We dined outside and were continually swatting away little bugs that enjoyed the food probably more than we did. I asked to use the bathroom and was directed by the owner?? who  yelled at me when  I opened the door to the restaurant to ask for directions to the restrooms. Thanks but no thanks. Came all the way from Torrance to go to Joshua Tree National Park and we were looking to find good food for lunch. Found this gem on yelp, saw good reviews and mouth-watering pictures, and we decided to pick this place. Ordered drunken tiger roll, baked salmon roll and mixed tempura, and wow, it's sooooooo goood!!! So good! The mixed tempura was fried so beautifully, both the rolls tasted soooo good, such quality food. If only this place is near Torrance, this will be our go to place. But everytime we'll go to joshua tree or just near the place, we'll definitely go back!! They had a togo deal online where if you spent $50-$75 you would get a free specialty roll and gyoza. I ordered online and when I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, the hostess said they changed their deal so I didn't end up getting the extra food they said would be free. They changed their deal on a piece of paper infront of the restaurant not even on the website. The hostess didn't even apologize and was very aggressive. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would have given them 0 stars if I could. Never ever ever going here again. More...
