I was pretty anxious about leaving my pets home alone for my trip, but boarding was proving to be problematic as they would get super stressed and not eat the entire time. I’m happy to say that all went well and they ate and lounged like normal. My neighbors reported that dogs looked quite happy on their walks. It was also great to return from my trip to find my happy dogs waiting for me and being quite their normal selves. The team at Kimberly’s Kritter care gave me honest assessments of what was happening during their visits (one dog was a little timid and took some time to warm up, but they took the time to help him settle down) and I am confident that they had my dogs best interest at heart. These guys took great care of my cat over the Thanksgiving holiday. I almost always have a little anxiety about leaving him behind when I travel, but not this trip! Let me start this off with saying that my wife is VERY particular about who takes care of her four legged babies. We had a short notice, emergency trip we had to take that wouldn't allow us to take them with us. Kimberly was able to help on short notice, even during the holidays!Not only that, but we were more than satisfied with the care our bunnies received. More was done for them than we had required during the visits, and on top of that we got pictures of our kids twice a day! (once at each visit). Kimberly watches our pup Cooper every other day while we are gone for work and overnight while we are away. We love the videos and pictures she sends us to keep us updated on what he's up to during the day, and love how much he loves playing with her dogs, it's great to see him becoming more socialized. I love the days when Cooper heads to daycare with Kimberly because he comes home totally exhausted and ready to go on a leisurely walk and snuggle. In addition to watching our fur baby, Kimberly also feeds him at her house when he's skipped breakfast at home (he likes to sleep in), which provides peace of mind knowing that he's getting enough calories to burn with all of his energy!Cooper is a bit of a special case- we adopted him not too long ago and he was labeled human and animal aggressive with anxiety. Though I think this was a bit of a misdiagnosis, he does still get some anxiety with new people and other animals, but he instantly felt comfortable and at home with Kimberly and her pups, and knowing that he is with someone in an environment that is safe and non-triggering was my ultimate goal.
