What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
One secret to taking a great photograph is putting the subject at ease. Most people dont like being photographed and look immediately at themselves when viewing the final product. I have a very short window of time with my subjects so I devote 100% of my social skills to relax and relate to my subjects with the goal in mind of having them feel like this is just another photo being taken by a friend.

What is your overall vision? What story do you want my work to reflect?
What do you love most about your job?
I have been an “emotional documentarian” my whole life. That is to say, I find freezing special moments of our lives invaluable in our experience of humanity. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I have captured an image that will be held as precious for many years.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business out of my need to make my own creative decisions. Nothing kills creativity faster than being told how to do one’s creative job by a non-creative.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have been photographing professionally for 30+ years. I also do my own post-production processing so I complete a project from start to finish. I alone am 100% responsible for the finished product and I take great pride in my work.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
While I have yet to figure out a way to photograph remotely :), I do provide the resulting product online. I email a link to my customer who then downloads their images. I am also able to provide images on a USB thumbdrive when requested.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will wear a mask and maintain a 6 ft distance on any job if requested.
Photography - General
I offer general photography services including event, portrait, travel and landscape photography.
Post-Production Photo Processing
I am skilled in using Adobe software including Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom to correct color, density, contrast, saturation, and improve images with cropping.
Photo Retouching
I am skilled in post-production software to clean up old images from dust, scratches, improve color and contrast and eliminate unwanted objects and people.
Photography Teacher
With 30+ years of professional experience in photography, I am able to guide and teach beginners in their understanding of how their cameras work as well as give pointers to improve their results, including lighting, composition and subject matter.
Product Photography
Need items photographed to list on ebay? I have sold over 600 items on ebay, all with multiple pictures.
Are you an artist and need your work photographed for your website? I have my own Etsy site so I know the quality you need.
