Ansen came early & immediately looked at all the spots we saw droppings. My old house has a lot of spots. He did find some new knock out holes so he drilled in the area & applied the orange oil. Same with the bathroom ceiling. Other spots included walls next to picture frames that we saw droppings and downstairs kitchen cabinets that had old holes. Ansen was awesome! Kailua Pest Control sent him out to our house for Orange Oil treatment, he could not have been more courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and respectful. He took his time to greet each member of the household and carefully explain exactly what he was going to do in each room and what to expect. I called Kilauea Pest Control and talked with Sarah and Savannah. These 2 girls were the best ! I sent them a picture of the bugs that are in my house, they looked at it and called me back to let me know that I could save some money and do it myself, They gave me info on how to do it and even called my tenant to explain what the bug is and how it got in the house, and how to get rid of it. I had an excellent experience with this company, their technician Robert was very respect full and knowledgeable. He explained the hole process what he would be doing and what to watch out for in the future not just to myself but also to the neighbors recommending steps to prevent them from having the issue. A little over a year later ... and still loving this company!We are on a bi monthly treatment schedule. Today our service was provided by Troy. Troy is courteous, friendly, professional and efficient. He showed up on time . He also asked questions about any current concerns , he listens well and was very prompt in completing the treatment. This review will be about the Termite & Bird Division. Robert was very enthusiastic and informative.  He did a walk through and pointed out the holes in the wire mesh that the birds had made leading to the attic. Made an appointment for them to come back out. They showed up early and went straight into covering up the holes and removing the nests (Three in total) Also spraying for bird mites. On the last nest being removed two birds flew out! So happy that we had this done now my daughter won't hear the birds chirping and scratching in her ceiling. I found a small 3" dirt pile (big enough to panic) and was in a rush to find out if I had termites in our garage side door.  Called and their schedule was busy, however, ended up squeezing me in and they showed up on time.  Luckily, after poking at the "termite hill", it was determined that it was an ant hill!  All we had to do was sweep the dirt away and lay ant bait next to it.  Thank goodness I didn't sweep away the evidence and even more thankful for their speedy professional diagnosis!  Definitely will call them again if I have pest issues. Can the phrase "bedside manner" be used to describe any professional in their respective field?  Kilauea Pest Control has a wonderful reputation that in my experience they do live up to.  They are easy to contact and speedy with their response.  All those involved in customer service are friendly and professional.  And the technicians are knowledgeable as well as thorough.  What more could you ask for?Well to me, when something is scary.. like going to the doctor or the thought of a roach infestation, sometimes you really do just need someone to tell you that everything is going to be okay.  Technician NETH did the initial service to my one bedroom apartment and I can honestly say that I feel so much better.  Basically, I found his "bedside manner" extremely comforting.  If you're even a little crazy and a bit obsessive, no further explanation is needed and you should find great value in my reasoning. Manu, from Kilauea Pest Control came over to give me an estimate for termite issues. He showed up on time and had a friendly first impression. We went through the house and said that all but one problem area were not caused by termites. For the area that was affected by termites, he recommended replacing the cabinet rather that treating it. Time for our annual Termite Sentricon bait station maintenance. Kilauea Pest  control sent Matthew Guzman out to take care of our home. Matthew  arrived on time and was quite pleasant. This is my very first Yelp review, and I'm happy it's for Kilauea Pest Control! I had called another company for an estimate and they came out pretty quickly, but the technician didn't give me a whole lot of information. I had to wait a couple weeks for my appointment with Kilauea, and I was blown away by the friendly and knowledgeable Robert! He explained things very clearly and gave me way more information than the guy from the competitor. This is a great pest control service. I called them because I had a problem with birds making a nest in the venting holes. I spoke to Michelle who explained their service and set me up for a free estimate. For the removal, they sent Robert. He was very friendly and efficient. As he did the removal he also explained what he was doing. In no time at all he was finished with the job. Now I won't have to worry about any bird nesting problems in the future.I also have preventative pest control from this company. Every other month Tino will come and treat my house so that I no longer have to worry about ants and roaches. He is also friendly and well versed in what type of treatment should be used for specific areas and pest. Now I rarely see any roaches or ants in my house and if I do see one I just have to call the company and they quickly arrange another treatment. More...

I only got an initial inspection done but the guy who came down, Taylor, was really nice, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions I had. Reasonably priced and told me what they do differently from competitors. He said they find the holes the termites are in and inject the termite killing chemicals with a syringe vs drilling holes and injecting the termite killing chemicals. This is my second review of Kilauea Pest Control and another testament to their superior customer service.We are in the process of selling our property and needed some spot treatment in our kitchen and attic to complete the sale.  Even with short notice Ms Michelle Ramos was able to fit us in.Sadly there was a slight hiccup in coordinating entry to our house since the door was locked via a code that we didn't have access to.  Mr Robert "the termite whisperer" Steele, who already had a demanding schedule for his day, waited with me for 45 minutes before we were able to get inside.  We talked story and at no time was he impatient with the situation, he understood that this was a stressful time and getting the treatment was contingent for the sale.Robert called the office and Michelle cleared his schedule which allowed him to make sure we got the job done.  Kilauea has top-notch employees and that "get" the concept of Aloha and really value their customers.  A big MAHALO to Robert and Michelle, really appreciate the service.  Always the Best!
