My family and I stopped in here on our way out of town. Immediately the staff made us feel right at home and like we were "regulars". We were a little intimidated by ordering but again the staff were so friendly it really made us feel welcome and not hurried. You take a tray and order your drinks and food cafeteria style and then have a seat and wait while it's prepared. Everything comes out piping hot and absolutely delicious. I had the French toast and my son had the pancakes, not a bite was left on the plate. My favorite dining experience in the outer banks by far. The staff is amazing (especially Terra, she was the most caring waitress we have ever had, and made our day with her positive attitude and the amount of hard work she did for our family! ). Both, the husband and wife, owners were also working, and we were able to meet them and they were very personable towards us(they even gave us a free bib for our 7 month old). They serve pancakes!! And lots of other breakfast items. My family of five had omelets, French toast, and pancakes. The food is good, but the price was a little more than I expected. (Drinks add up).

This must be a great place as the line goes out the door ! Our turn came up and the smells were so yummy I could hardly wait! Pancakes, of course , with eggs and bacon. The waffles were scrumptious as were all the other choices... my family had cleared their plates like professionals! The staff friendly and smiling no matter how busy they were. We were intimidated by how long the line was (it was out the door) but it did move quickly. They have a system of serving that is unique but it works! I had the best waffle ever, it was served up hot with confectionary sugar and whipped butter (love whipped butter!!), and my bacon was crispy!! It was wonderful. My husband had a huge omelette with all the sides. Everything came to us hot. The servers are very friendly. We will be return customers if we travel to Kitty Hawk again! More...

We got to the Outer Banks early Sunday morning and were looking for a breakfast place. This one was right by the road and we decided to give it a try. The place was crowded but not packed. You get in line, order your food, pay and get to a table and wait for your food. It wasn't too long of a wait. The people working there were very nice and helpful since we needed 6 chairs but there were only 4 chair tables available. We walked in around 11:15am “Order at the bar” service and then seat yourself. The meals came out very quick for how busy they were. The Greek omelet was great. The biscuits and gravy were good.
