I started working with Mr. Khurgel last year, to change my status from B2 to F1. He was very knowledgeable and very kind and helpful and had great experience with change of status for students. I can't say enough about Mr. Khurgel and his firm. I am so very pleased with his counsel, professionalism, and actions. He took a difficult case and won it, on appeal! We had made the horrible mistake of trying to navigate immigration law on our own, WHAT A MISTAKE! We thought our case was hopeless until we met Jeff. He took over after we had received a final Decision and an order to leave. He hit the ground running and organized and handled the appeal. We had an important immigration issue and was looking for an experienced immigration lawyer to handle the case. I won't go into much details but after some extensive online search of immigration attorneys in the area and had spoken with a good number of them, there were just some elements missing in most of them and I can't quite describe it. Upon our first meeting, we were more impressed with his calm and down to earth demeanor. He took his time to listen and answered all of the questions we had. He gave us the confident we needed. We are glad that we have finally found the right attorney to guide us through this difficult process. We are even more impressed by the fact that he is a board certified specialist in immigration law which is quite rare and important for us. I have a great experience with Jeff and his team. Attorney Jeff is very knowledgeable. I have been out of status (F1) for more than one year. I did not know what to do because the crucial time is 5-month period. Jeff and Aki helped me to file for reinstatement and submitted in July 10th. I got the approval notice in Nov 1st, which weren't even 4 months (the processing time takes 4-7 months). Aki is very sweet and patient.
