Excellent gym with a wide range of equipment and clean, cool facilities. I can't believe how many gyms try to cheap out in summer with no AC and no fans. This place doesn't skimp on either, so you can push yourself harder in your workout.I was only in town for a month this time, but the management was very accommodating with easy sign up and close out. The customers seem to be serious with many using trainers. The equipment looks well maintained and the facilities are very clean. Fresh towels, great WiFi and some large screen TVs to keep you entertained and/or informed during workouts. What more could you ask for?I'll definitely sign up again when I return to Santa Barbara! This gym is super awesome.  It's small but has everything you need for a great work out. It's well maintained and very very clean.  Most of the times I've been there (9:30 PM onwards) there are only 4-5 other people working out in the gym and everyone is very respectful of each other and the equipment.  Love the community and the feel of the gym.  Brian (manager ) was very nice in helping me set up a month to month membership via email and everything is very clear-cut, no hidden fees/surcharge.  Only con is that I was a student and I couldn't stay in SB for long! If I move back, definitely my go-to gym. More...

Went to this gym on a weekly pass while I was in town visiting and it more than met my needs. Booking a weekly pass was simple and convenient (you pay online and get emailed a keycode). It's also convenient that this place is open 24 hours, so you can go anytime. I went there in the morning from about 6-7:30 am and it wasn't dead but it wasn't packed either. I went in the evening once from about 8-9 pm and it also wasn't super crowded. There are two power racks as well as one deadlift platform and two dedicated bench press set-ups (one incline, one not). There are your basic machines like leg press and leg extension and cardio machines, a few cable machines, mats, bands, kettlebells, and tons of dumbbells. I never had to wait for equipment and the place seemed clean overall. My only complaint is that it's a little warm in there! I'm not sure if they have/use air conditioner, but there didn't seem to be one during my visits. I wish I had a gym like this back home! More...

This gym has everything you need to work out at the perfect price. Other gyms I've been a member of I've had to fight for the machines, but everything is usually pretty open, and if it's not everyone is very respectful of time spent on each machine. Also when I sent an email inquiry I received a response from the owner himself, who seems to genuinely care about the customer's fitness. Huge pro also is the 24 hour access! If I'm feeling self-conscious I can go at any off time at night ;) More...

I was in town for 8 days and wanted a place to get my workouts in. When I emails some of the big box gyms, I got an average quote of 50. 00 for a 7 day pass. WTF. The gym I used to belong to didn't event cost close to that for a month's membership! I looked on Yelp to see what I could find with small business owner locations. That's when I found reviews mentioning the option to buy an online pass for K2F. I purchased a pass online, received a door code via email and visited the gym that night. Everything I needed I found here, as well as something I never see when I visit gyms: a deadlift jack! They keep the place really clean and I love the brick walls. I am not sure but I think I spied a hip thruster platform as well. If it was, major plus to these guys. I do wish there was a little more of a kettlebell selection, but it's not a deal breaker. There isn't a locker room but there are 3 large bathrooms and each one has a shower in it. The gym also provides towels if you need them. I love that they are dog friendly (some members came in with a dog and an employee set up a small pen near the door) and provide doggy treats to them. Huge points. If I lived here, there isn't a doubt I would join. I like the variety of equipment, it's clean and the members seem nice. I'm really happy I found this place. More...

I like that it has a balance of free weights and machines, but the emphasis is on free weights and other equipment like kettle bells, TRX, etc. They have just about 1-2 of everything, and I don't find myself ever saying "I wish they had...". Everything you need in a smaller, cleaner, more "intense" environment. This is a gym for people who are serious about working out and know what they're doing. Staff is friendly, and I like the vibe. A gym where everybody is putting in work and giving it their all regardless of their fitness level. I train at Key with Kelly and I don't have a full time membership there, but if I had time to be in the gym without a trainer, I would want to join. It is always clean and organized, the trainers are all friendly and so are most of the people. The showers are convenient and my things are always 100% safe in the cubbies. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because sometimes things can get crowded if it is a peak hour and because everyone is serious about training machines or racks can be used by one person for 30 min at a time. However, it is available 24 hours/day so maybe just go when it's not so crowded! More...

Been a member with K2F a little under 6 months about now. 2nd year here in Santa Barbara, tried 24HF, Spectrum and Fishers. 24 was just a mess, dirty and unpleasant. Spectrum is a nice facility but if you don't fit the appropriate age group and attire at the time of day, you won't be acknowledged with a warm welcome. Fishers was a great gym, has everything a power lifter wants but I'm a pretty needy and clean person so I needed a more "uppity" facility. K2F is no doubt the best gym in Santa Barbara with the best staff, equipment and peers around you. Robin is an excellent go to gym buddy that is in there day on out working her ass off, she makes it a comfortable and affordable gym to train at, whatever needs or issues you have, she will sort and take care of it for you no questions asked. Other than that, the trainers here know what their doing. Nick is an excellent mentor. Therefore if you need a clean, organized gym which has all of your needs, this is the spot. Carry on and get chiseled. No pun intended. More...
