Food was pretty good. Had coconut shrimp appetizer followed by fried seafood platter. Two of my scallops had the muscle still attached but other wise was good. This is a family run seafood restaurant that has been around for generations. As one of the first stapels to Nags Head, the decor and atmosphere bring about a feeling of history of the great area. "Best wedding food I've ever had" ....I can't tell you how many guests came up to us on Friday and told us that. Kelly's was a dream team to work with and helped us every step of the way create a menu our guests would enjoy and are still talking about after the wedding. It was a pleasure working with such a professional and friendly restaurant for our wedding. Get the shrimp and grits and the mac and cheese!! We totally enjoyed this place. We were late on a Wednesday and the service by Ed was pleasant and accurate. The food was done just right. The Filet Oscar style and the Prime Rib were nicely done and very flavorful. Sweet Potato biscuits were worth the visit! We will definitely return to Kelly's! More...

We always eat at Kelly's when we are at the outer banks. Always get Bouillabase and then the creme brulee. A glass of wine tops it off. Never disappoints!!
