so ... this is the best vet i’ve ever dealt with and here’s why ...tink was due for all her yearly stuff (exam, shots, etc) and i needed a new vet so i looked into it and desired to try out kelly’s, i made my appointment and the lady helped answer all my questions and gave me a detailed estimate so i was already pleased when i walked into my appointment. .. i forgot her records and they weren’t rude or anything they were just like “it’s cool” which i appreciated, the wait was short and i never felt ignored, the whole staff was very kind and informative of all my questions. when dr. kelly came in the room he was very polite and also upfront about everything which is rare to find and i appreciate x1000 he checked out a lump on her back and don’t charge me any extra (which all of my previous vets would have done) and then he also had an opportunity to milk me for more money and more tests but he didn’t he was just right up front with me that i don’t need to do all that i just need to buy some inexpensive antibiotics and then on top of that the technician suggested a cheaper alternative to her current medicine that i was never aware of and saved me close to $100! money isn’t everything but it’s a big deal and it’s an even bigger deal when you find someone that isn’t after everything you have. i highly recommend this place and i’ve already told my friends and family that have/plan to get dogs about this place… 110% satisfied and without a doubt coming back! they also do other animals including reptiles so ya there’s that too More...

Dr. Kelly is a great vet. You know after 1 minute he cares for all pets and only wants the best for them. He gets down on the floor if need be to be dog level to do an exam and treats your pet like his own.

Dr. Kelly's experience and compassion are priceless. He has taken care of our cats since 2000 except for a few years we spent in Atlanta. He takes time with each visit to listen and explain. Dr Kelly is a trip , one of my dogs he said would be 45 lbs . So he suggested I have him fixed to stop growing . End result 110 lb fur baby . We laugh about it still. Great Vet who has cats and dogs himself! I just went for the first time with my own cat to Dr. Kelly and was happy to know he actually has 9 cats himself, plus dogs, and other animals. Who doesn't want a vet who loves and has animals/ pets like you do! Made a huge impression on me since I have 3 cats and foster as well. I also accompanied a friend with a new kitten prior to bringing my own cat in. The staff is super nice and everyone I listened to in the waiting room seemed happy with bringing their pet there. My dogs were outside because we have contractors re-tiling our floors from the flood and the dogs can't walk on the tile. Normally, they are always inside unless they are going potty . But they were out and I was making the kids food. I guess Marshall and Delilah saw the contractors working through the window and got excited and jumped on the window. The window broke.... The picture below is pretty gross/graphic. Luckily my husband came home right when this all happened. The contractors (who are also good friends) offered to watch our kids so I could run my dogs right to the vet. I gotta say I am so thankful to Cheryl Neraasen and Kelly's Animal Hospital. I called and they allowed me to bring my dogs right over. The clinic was booked solid, and they stopped everything they were doing to sedate my dogs and stitch their legs up. The lacerations were pretty bad. Both dogs got 10-12 stitches in their front left legs. And Marshall got one stitch on his right as well. The vets office looked like a murder scene... My house did too. I can't even begin to thank this clinic for stopping everything to see us. I see a lot of posts about how vets aren't compassionate, and they don't do it for the right reasons. Or they didn't save someone's dog because of money, or whatever people use to justify being angry. I don't for a second believe that's true. Definitely not about Dr.Kelly and his amazing staff. They took us within 15 mins. They could've sent us to the ER for a $2000 bill, but they didn't. They saw us as regular patients, and while still expensive, not at all unreasonable. After all, my dogs were injured in my care. It's not their fault. They need to pay bills and staff too. They have families to feed too. I have never been this anxious or stressed out. The amount of blood, just made me think I was going to lose a dog. Please be thankful for your vets. It's not an easy job. There's no one that becomes a vet just to turn owners away because they don't have money. They do it to save not just animals, but families. Sorry for any typos. I'm still really on edge. I need a bath, I need new shoes.... But my dogs are ok thanks to Dr.Kelly and his staff. That's all that matters. More...
