The staff especially GM Leann. I called to ask what they were serving at the show Friday night. She regretfully told me it was canceled. The ticket people had not contacted me. Kellie’s is a great taste of KY if you’re new to the area or just passing through. The staff made this TX family feel welcome and part of the family in every way. Try their Hot Brown sandwich, Fried chicken, bacon jam burger and the fried catfish. Uncle Leroy’s candies inside the restaurant is a must have road trip snack or to share with a friend. Kellies catering provided egg free desserts and appetizers for my Dads 90th 🥳. Everyone raved about the food and it made my very allergic grandson’s eyes light up when he discovered all his options! I would totally recommend them for any of your catered events. This was for 60 people. I live 5 hours away and she coordinated everything with me by phone. Good food, service was a bit slow, but the friendliness of our server, Hailey, more than made up for that! She’s the sweetest server I’ve ever encountered! I placed a large pickup order for 10 people today. It was completely finished and waiting for us when I arrived a few mins later, and the staff was very nice and fast. The food was still nice and hot, even when we returned to work after the 10/15 min. drive. Everyone at my work enjoyed it and it was all prepared correctly. We ate here after the Ark Experience. I found it doing a search, but immediately when I mentioned it out loud, someone on our bus chimed in and told us what a great place it is! Eat here quiet often,but tonight was awful. Got seated, drinks came maybe 10 min later. After 30 min waiting asked a server if we could order and nothing, but not sure who’s section this is she told us. 2 standing at the register and it was not that busy to not get service. I get it everyone is short staffed, but to not be acknowledged after other people were seated and ordered after us. We left and went elsewhere.Will go back just not soon. More...
