Working with Kristen has completely changed my life for the better.

Not only is she a brilliant physical educator, but she is such a bright light and beautiful human being. She has single-handedly changed the way that I view exercise and the way that I eat.

I was a childhood figure skater for thirteen years of my childhood. I came to her with a s***-ton of exercise trauma and a long history of eating disorders. I have had a lifetime of experience of personal trainers and "nutritionists", and all of them fall flat when in comparison to Kristen. The growth she has facilitated has been stunning. She is a trusted resource when it comes to movement and nutrition, transparent about her training and education, which makes me trust her. So many physical trainers and nutritionists are coming from a disordered place and do not know what they are talking about-- that is not Kristen. She is truly a healer. She meets you where you are and takes you where you want to go.

She will change the way you move, the way you eat, and the way you view yourself-- you will become a better person under her guidance.

Her positive energy and intuitive eating/movement approach has changed my outlook on life and on myself. I am a better person because I work with Kristen-- I can do hard things because she is in my corner, and she does so with such joy, humor, and grace.

It is a mistake not to work with Kristen-- above all, she is an utter delight to work with.

I’ve been working with Kristen for years and she has changed the way I integrate movement into my life as well as provide insight into my eating habits. Using my custom 12-week strength training program has allowed me to thrive in areas of my life outside the gym; walking up flights of stairs with ease, working as a bartender & easily carrying inventory, and long walks home from the grocery store. Before working with Kristen I had a history of disordered eating and now I have a variety of tools to help me grocery shop without anxiety, meal prep with confidence and listen to my intuition & eat what feels good!

I would recommend KDR Wellness to anyone looking to improve their overall wellness and health or to reach specific fitness goals.

The way we feed ourselves is the single most factor in our health and well-being! I teach my clients how to listen to their body's hunger/fullness cues and give them the nutritional education they need to be done with fad diets for good.

I believe in basic functional patterns of movement that everyone needs to master in order to move with confidence. My training programs create movement literacy in these patterns so that clients can grow to execute challenging workouts and accomplish their goals without the risk of injury.

I think that this question highlights everything that is toxic about the fitness industry. When you learn to love and practice gratitude for your body, you learn that the "body of your dreams" is the one that works hard to keep you alive every day. You can have the body of your dreams AND desire to make changes to it at the same time. I refuse to spend time making my clients think that their bodies are unworthy or less-than, just because they desire to change.

I believe deeply that YOU are capable of doing incredible things, especially women. It is a privilege to help people set goals to improve their lives and accomplish them!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized that I could be more impactful working for myself. In this way, I could start to customize my services based on what my clients need, rather than based on what a company wants to offer.

All services can be done remotely! This gives you the ability to stay committed to your goals, even gets busy or takes you to different locations.

I am fully vaccinated, happy to wear a mask, and always willing to make sessions virtual if anyone is feeling sick. Our health is the most important thing to me.

Services

Kristen's clinical background merges with her dance experience and spirituality practices to deliver a one of a kind experience in each session. Her holistic approach to personal training breaks down functional patterns of movement that support activities of daily life and allow her clients to thrive in their physical environments. This style of training provides the tools needed to say yes--with confidence--to any physical opportunities life presents.

Personal Training sessions can be done in the client's home, at Kristen's location, or virtually.

Intuitive nutrition examines not just what you're eating, but how, why, and where you're eating it. No matter what your goals are, we understand that so many factors affect the way you eat; time, sleep, stress, work, family, relationships, taste preferences, hormones, and so much more. In order to truly change the way you eat for good and get results that stick, an intuitive nutrition coach takes all of these things into consideration.

Intuitive Nutrition coaching is a monthly membership that includes a 30-minute call each week with your coach.

During your meeting, we'll break down long-term goals into weekly bite-sized actions and check in on the goals from the week prior. Each package and program is customized to the participant and their goals, but can include meal planning/meal prep assistance, elimination diets, portion guides, exercise & movement support, sleep & stress management support, and more!

Can be done virtually or in-person! Virtual packages include two prenatal sessions to create a birth plan, learn breathing techniques, pelvic floor activation, and review comfort measures. In-person birth doula services include on-call support for labor and delivery, and more!
