We signed up with him recently, and paid him even more than he asked to get started. Unresponsive to multiple emails and texts asking if any taxes were due.
We had a tax return due while waiting on a response from them. We ended up having to do it ourselves.
It feels like Ken and his assistant Kalisha tried to scam us by getting the money and then doing no work while not responding to calls, texts or emails for almost two weeks while deadlines passed.
Would not trust him to be communicative about your taxes or respectful of your time.
Extremely poor service, and did not at all do their job.

I am a small business owner and had prepared my tax return but I was not sure if return will go through the IRS scrutiny. Â So I contacted Ken Daniel to review my papers . As soon as I stepped into his office he came to welcome me, even though he had a client. When the client had left the office he called me to his desk and I gave him my papers. Â He reviewed my (2016 - 2018)tax papers. Â On completion, he commented "you did a good job". Â He also told me what I should do to make my returns perfect. I was very impressed with the exceptional service I received from Ken Daniel. Â I had a tax question that no one wanted to answer. Â I'd gone to 3 different CPA'S and 2 different Attorneys and they would not answer my questions. Â Mr. Daniel reviewed my documents and gave me an answer within our 30 minute appointment window. I spoke with Ken Daniel over the phone after requesting a quote on Yelp. My issue was the FTB sent me a letter asking me to file a CA tax return for 2017, the year I did not live in California and had no California income. Ken listened to my questions regarding the notice and the accompanying questionnaire, and he directed me to the correct course of action (physically going to the FTB office, where I explained the situation and resolved my issue). He did not charge me anything for this wonderful advice, and he saved me hours time trying to figure it out on my own. Â I was skeptical that anyone would be willing to hear me out and offer help via a "free" consultation, but Ken did, and I am super appreciative!I had reached out to other Yelp businesses for a quote and got varying responses for my inquiry (ranging from $50 for a "letter" explaining why I shouldn't have to file, $99 for a consultation, and $150 for a tax amendment and filing CA taxes which would have been entirely unnecessary)... none as honest and genuinely helpful as Ken Daniel. Today, I contacted K.B. Daniel Company to schedule an appointment. I had the pleasure of speaking with a very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional gentleman named, Ken Daniel, Sr. regarding making an appointment to have my taxes done.  I informed him that I was State Worker, so this alone should tell him that I do not make a lot of money.  He proceeded to ask me a series of questions to determine if I should submit my taxes on my own that I had already prepared or come into his office.  He said that he did not want to charge me to have my taxes done if he was going to calculate the same figures I already had!  I was grateful  for the discussion and confirmation.
