What do you love most about your job?
I continue to LOVE working with & helping, animals & their humans. My goals are to teach the pet how to live happily & successfully, in accordance with the needs of his/her human family. My extensive experience & knowledge of animal behavior help me to assist pet parents to become the trustworthy leaders their pets need, help them understand their dog’s behavior/communication, how their dog learns with Positive Reinforcement & assist with preventing, or correcting, all types of problem behaviors.
I can best serve my clients with Obedience training at THEIR HOME, where less stressful training is most needed & where the behavioral problems are occurring & obedience is primarily needed.
I also strive to keep pets from being relinquished to animal shelters for correctable behaviors.
I’m a long-time active volunteer & Foster Mom with an excellent non-profit Rescue group, Houston Cares Animal Rescue.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked as a Child Protective Service Caseworker & a Day Care Licensing Supervisor ( managing 9 professional staff), I wanted to work with Animals & individuals in my own small business. I obtained additional specific schooling and TEA certified training beyond my BS College degree.
My lengthy membership with APDT ( Association of Professional Trainers ) affords me numerous resources & contacts for continuing education via Seminars, Professional articles & Zoom meetings.

Not For Obedience Training, where I must demonstrate techniques with the dog(s) for the client.
Remote/online assistance is possible only for issues such as Housebreaking & some other behavioral issues.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In-Home Training is undertaken ONLY with clients who are also Fully Covid Vaccinated, with all parties wearing face masks when indoors , and Practicing social distancing & hand sanitation.
Sessions will be conducted outside as much as possible for all of our safety.
