We hosted a small baby shower here with around 30 people. Our original plan was to be out of the way on the patio but with the rain, we had to move it inside. Katie’s employees were so patient and understanding helping us get situated at the bar. The food was absolutely amazing but the service and smiles were even better. Dinner was AMAZING! We had shrimp and grits and the biggest pork chop that was so delicious!!! Oh and our dessert was whiskey cake with ice cream that we shared. You have to try it!

Went back home to Livingston today with Memaw & decided we didn’t want the usual. We stopped at Katie’s and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. We had The S.O.B. & it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. This brisket was tender, paired with a pepper sauce that’s not super heavy with evenly caramelized onions, soft cheese and a delicious soft bread. this was my second time here first was awesome can't say that today. daughter came from out of town ,we were excited to go this morning. the drinks strawberry lemonade was great ,and that's where it ended . I ordered the special blueberry stuffed French toast, daughter got the banana bread French toast ,her order came out I waited till a waitress came and asked where my order was she went to check ,never returned after several tables were served I went to counter and asked about it ,the "manager" said they had a issue and it did not send special to kitchen with order ,ok but she did not offer anything to wait for it or say if it was being prepared, so I asked for a refund and was told they had several customers complain about it this morning! what why are you not fixing a issue that you are aware of this is high-end cafe it was $16 for French toast now you've lost a customer that with just 2 people the bill was $60 ,she seemed un concerned about it so no stars for customer service More...

beautiful patio, the lemonade is delicious. The food was not that great. Both my husband and I were disappointed with our lunch. I will go back and just have a beverage and dessert in the future. Such a beautiful spot to eat! I loved all three of the appetizers we ordered, and my sandwich with homemade rosemary chips was delicious. We received all of our food within similar time as any other restaurant, and considering it was their first day being open I found this truly impressive. All of the staff were kind and attentive, and took care to see our needs were met. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. The plating and presentation of our meals takes it to another level. I saw a review about pricing, but it’s important to remember that if you walk into any other spot similar to this one anywhere else outside of Livingston, you’ll pay similar or even more. Very well-appointed new location downtown. Chic and modern design, an eclectic assortment of lunch and dinner items on the menu, and friendly staff. It was opening day for the downtown location today, so there were some understandable glitches as they learn to manage the flow of customers and settle into a routine. That being said, the food items are a bit on the pricey side for this area, and I would love to see a place with ‘bakery’ in the name serve/offer fresh breads, croissants, pastries, etc. It would be nice to sit and have a coffee and croissant or bread instead of solely sweet baked goods such as macaroons and cake. There are numerous places in town to get sweet bakery items. There are zero places in this town to get fresh breads/croissants/pastries and this establishment is missing out on filling that void.
