Guglhupf is just one of those special places where the everything you could order is delicious. I love taking my family to meet up for brunch or lunch. The food is all special, and the bakery is out of this world. The coffee is top notch and sitting out on the patio is perfect in decent weather. Despite being super popular we always manage to find a table. Sometimes it's loud inside, but that's rare. I love the Eggs Benedict, chocolate baked goods, and the bratwurst is always great quality. I find the service is good despite being a counter style, and although the line is long sometimes, it's because they treat you like you're the only one there when you're at the counter. OMG YUM! This place is wonderful! We came yesterday as a group of 4 and it was pretty busy (around 10:45am). How the process works is you wait in line to order and then they give you a number and you can sit inside either upstairs or downstairs, or you can choose to sit outside. We originally chose upstairs but there wasn't any open tables so we had to switch to outside. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. Parking is a stretch here as there isn't many spots and people were parking on the road. The meal I got was the croissant sandwich with a chai latte and neither disappointed. Wedding Cake- Guglhupf made our wedding cake for a September 2019 wedding in Durham and they did an amazing job! All of our vendors were great, but Guglhupf went above and beyond for our tasting, to helping coordinate delivery of the florist's flowers for additional decoration, to delivery on the day-of! 5/5, use them!
