Katherine is an amazing photographer! Her captures with natural light is what sold me! I wanted pictures for my wedding that were with natural light and not heavily edited, and she delivered just that! I couldnt have been more happy with her work. I love her work so much that she captured both my wedding ceremonies, my engagement shoot, my maternity shoot and recently my newborn/family shoot (which includes both my dogs, one who is extremely hyper and crazy). Where to start.. first of all she is an amazing photographer and if you are looking for someone that uses natural lighting like a boss, she's your girl! She captured my both my ceremonies and shot my engagement shoot. I was blown away by the photos but she was also so patient and fun during the shoot she made it so fun I can't even begin to describe how amazing she was. I don't know how to begin describing how absolutely blessed and thankful we are that Katherine captured our special day. Aside from her incredible talent in delivering amazing photos, she is such a joy to be around! There were a few moments where I was feeling overwhelmed, and she knew just when to step in or step back. As a bride, this is what makes or breaks your day, and she was so kind and understanding through every moment and emotion. When we received our gallery, there were special moments that she had captured, that I hadn't realized she was standing there for! She is so talented at being there without being intrusive on your moments, and captures them perfectly. Katherine has captured a military homecoming, our wedding, and soon another homecoming, and she will always be my first call when I need photographs! Brides, or just anyone looking to have a special time captured, Katherine is hands-down the best out there. I did my research! And what I found, that seems to be rare, was that Katherine Beth does a masterful job of making the ladies look beautiful! Should go without saying, no? We are the most critical of ourselves and we are often the ones planning the day, so it should be rule # 1 that all focus should be on making sure we look good. Strangely, it often isn't the case. Many photographers frame a beautiful shot while the bride is hanging out with a double chin and a crooked smile. Not Katherine Beth! She was creative and made the shoot fun. What a find! I seriously can't recommend Katherine enough! I was lucky and found her name randomly in a local mom's group, and she turned out to be amazing! From the first email I sent, Katherine was very easy to communicate with, and offered exactly what I was looking for with a small, affordable package for annual family photos. She answered all my questions, and booking was a breeze. She suggested a beautiful area to do our photos, and she was amazing with my toddler! She seriously had him smiling and laughing the whole time, and we got some incredible pictures! The hardest part was narrowing down my favorites! I don’t even know where to begin... Katherine is the sweetest, most wonderful person you will ever meet. She is so loving and down to earth and 100% worth your investment. The quality of her work is amazing and I will forever cherish the photos she captured of my wedding day. She was so patient with my large (semi disfunctipnal family). I plan to use her and her talent to capture my life events in the future. I am already trying to figure out how to get her to where I live for birth photos of my future children (HA! Katherine did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photography. The engagement session was a great way to get more comfortable in front of the camera and we absolutely loved how the photos turned out. The wedding day ran smoothly and the hours included in our package ended up being the perfect amount for us, but we appreciated that she was able to add on extra time, if needed, for a small fee to give us some extra flexibility. She had great suggestions for sites near our venue in Liberty Station to take our wedding party photos and even did a quick meet-up at the venue to take a look at some options. We love the way she and her second shooter captured our day!Aside from the actual photos themselves, Katherine was fantastic to work with. She was quick to respond to all our questions (and there were many) and really took the time to get to know us personally to best capture our day. She worked with our coordinator to ensure we kept to our timeline and so we wouldn't feel rushed or frazzled while taking photos. Her suggestion to sneak out of our cocktail hour to take a breath and have a few minutes for extra photos before our reception ended up being a great choice for us. She's definitely attended more weddings than we have, so we loved this expert advice! :) Her prices were incredibly reasonable and we will absolutely hire her again for any future photo needs! Katherine is absolutely amazing! She has done our family pictures a few times and totally blows me out of the water with her talent! She listens to what we would like and does great with making sure we are in a great position so we don't end up with any awkward limbs any where haha. I love her patience with my boys as they always love to show off all their cool tricks, you know, the look how I can climb this tree or look how I can swing from this branch type of cool tricks. She has even managed to take some really cool "action" shots of them and their tricks. Because when it comes down to it, that is their true and authentic self. I love the time she takes to get to know us, which in return makes gib fee so much more comfortable and relaxed during the pictures. So happy to be the first person of 2017 to write a review! I highly highly highly recommend Katherine Beth to anyone who wants beautiful and amazing photos for whatever special event they want to capture. I've used Katherine for 2 special occasions in my life over the past few years; my (then boyfriend's) 2014 Grad School photo shoot and most recently our Wedding (yay) just a few weeks ago! We had so much fun during our short photoshoot for "just because" occasion. Katherine has a very likeable personality and is very easy to work with. 1 hour flew by so quick as we went through 5 spots with different backgrounds. We got our photos within promised time period and were very happy with the results. I loved how natural and playful the photos looked and she caught all the best aspects of evening sun in our hair and faces so beautifully. Katherine was incredible to work with! She made my husband and I feel at such ease. We met at Scripps Pier in La Jolla for our maternity shoot. .. and it couldn't have worked out any better. Katherine's images of us and my growing baby bump turned out just gorgeous. These are photos we will cherish for a lifetime. We also have booked her for a baby session once our little one arrives. Katherine was just amazing to work with. I booked her as my wedding photographer and she was awesome. She did such a great job during our engagement session getting my fiancé to loosen up and feel comfortable in front of the camera. On our wedding day she was wonderful! We had the pleasure of meeting and working with Katherine. She was a true professional I'm my eyes. She was warm, friendly and incredibly patient with my young (non-cooperative) boys.
